Check-in was easy and smooth. The place was tidy. There were 3 of us, so I slept on the sofa bed. I think it’s worth replacing the mattress as I could feel the metal springs while I was in bed. It wasn't the comfiest. Barely slept. But other than that, the location was great.

We stayed in APX for one night. Excellent location near shops, Sydney tram and Murray's bus for interstate travels. Room was clean, pleasant and large, amenities are good. Air conditioning wasn't working properly at the time but they provided a portable one. Parking is scarce, we had to park one block away from the hotel. Still good for what we needed so I was happy.

Absolutely terrible experience! I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. When we arrived, one of our rooms was filthy and hadn’t been cleaned. On top of that, the additional bed we requested wasn’t there. We had to wait for the room to be cleaned, which was a huge inconvenience.

The gas stove didn’t work, making it impossible to cook. At the end of our stay, we left our luggage at reception, only to return and find no staff present. No one answered the phone, and we nearly missed our flight because of this complete lack of organization.

To make things even worse, I didn’t get much of my bond back for no clear reason. The entire experience was stressful, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Stay away from this place!

2 nights at this accommodation, travelling for work. Location ok in city. I don't tend to go out at night alone in areas I don't know, so can't comment on night life restaurants etc.|The man at reception whilst not rude, he wasn't very friendly either. The room I'm in 1002 has a fair bit of outside noise. Someone in an adjacent room just came in, closed their door and the whole wall shook. Bathroom needs some updating as does the furniture generally. Not awful, just not great. We'd call it worn. I prefer to stay places with room service etc, however this was the place work selected, so I utilised uber eats for dinner. Washing machine and dryer available. Fridge, microwave, kettle, sink, dishwasher also available. Small flat screen TV on the table. ||Would I stay again, if an alternative was not available in may chose to return. As a lady staying alone I'd prefer hotel rather than apartment accommodation.

I recently stayed at this APX, and what they called an "upgrade" turned out to be anything but ! My room had less usable space due to a sofa bed crammed into the living area, making it uncomfortable and impractical.

To make matters worse, the air conditioning system was poorly designed, creating huge temperature differences between the bedroom and the living area. The hotel’s “solution”? Just leave the bedroom door open—seriously?

Guests deserve transparency and comfort, not misleading upgrades and impractical setups. Even you send a complaining, no any real support or assistance to you. If you're planning to stay here, think twice!

very good with plenty space, but the fan in the shower room seems not workable.You could cook as well. and clothes washing machine is inside the room, cool. but the dryer machine seems take too much time to dry the clothes.Totallly I think it is still good choice.

Location was great, nice and easy walking to shops and China town and even to the Harbour - about 30mins stroll through the city, which was fun.

Service was great. Rooms had everything we needed.

Good value for money. Has a pool. And gym.

The staff were very accommodating and let us put our suitcases in safe storage when we arrived early. We went out for lunch and shopping until we could check in at 2pm.
When we checked out at 10am, they let us put our suitcases back in storage again while we went out for the day and came back in the afternoon to meet our Uber to the airport.

Thank you APX World Square - you made our weekend easy and enjoyable.
We will be back next time! And we will recommend!

Updated the conversation with the hotel
I booked 2 room under one reservation, so I used my credit card for my room and my colleague.
And the excuse of their cancellation is because my credit card didn’t match my colleague’s name.
If you ever booked more than one room on hotels.com, you will know you can only use one credit card under one reservation, no matter if it’s 3 or 5 rooms.
Obviously they just want to sell their room for higher price.
But cancel the room already reserved is ridiculous.

There’s reason they got low credit on the review.
Try them if you want.
