This is one of the most fantastic organisations. Full of great staff. Very friendly, warm and empathetic. ICLA honestly saved my life and prevented me from being homeless when I was really unwell. ICLA provides good accommodation for people who need it most.

I am beyond disappointed to hear the way Twin Nova was treated by PARC Bondi.

He was not offered any support before he left by any staff and the decision made to remove him from the program was a bad call by the manager.

He was harassed by certain staff members to the point he would leave for the night to avoid them. He had to get Ubers home or to a friends place it was that bad. And clearly he didn't feel safe there.

The "excuse" the manager gave was equally as bad, because he didn't know who to reach out to at that point as he had raised the concerns he was having with the manager and a nurse. Nothing changed and the staff members attitude towards him became even worse after he had found the courage to talk to staff about it to begin with.

The staff didn't even say goodbye to him or show any sign of concern to what he would do after leaving PARC! Showing no duty of care to his well being after his departure.

ICLA an investigation needs to me made in regards to the 2 staff members and the manager as no one who has mental health issues should ever be treated like this when they are already vulnerable.

He is an absolute gentlemen and I cannot understand or comprehend why trained professionals would do this to him.

Be aware before going to PARC that some of the "peer support workers" and "manager do not have your best interests at heart. And they bring the rest of the good staff down with them.

As I disclosed all my details from the very beginning, the main organiser Megan Batterbury is very misleading and unfair. She was not very personal at all as I was notified that the position is no longer available to me via email. Very unprofessional and disappointing and would highly NOT recommend this organisation to anyone.
