Hoboy, this place is tight and busy.

You need good courtesy and patience here for indeed the aisles are skinny, just two people sidling by each other... carefully. It is important that it is here and I was grateful for it. And, it's not as if George St is chockers with humans, scooters, food delivery bikers and our alien-lizard overlords (loljk).

Chemist Warehouse is my go-to store for all my health and wellness needs. They have an impressive range of products, from medications to skincare and supplements, all at very competitive prices. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to help with any questions. The store is well-organized, making it easy to find exactly what you need. I appreciate how they often have great sales, making it even more affordable to stock up on essentials. Overall, Chemist Warehouse offers excellent value and service, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for quality health products at great prices!

Experience here was awful. I had a terrible experience today at the store. I was trying to choose the right product for myself, but there were no signs indicating that I couldn't smell the products. Later, while I was in line to check out, a staff member came over and told me that I shouldn’t have smell the product. I agreed to it, but just as I was about to pay, another staff member came over and told me that I had to buy the product I had touched.

The experience was made even worse by how rude and unhelpful the staff were. I felt forced to buy something just because I touched it, and the store manager was very insistent. The entire interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and disappointed with the customer service. It’s frustrating when staff don't know what they’re doing, and when you're treated like this and it feels like getting robbed, it really takes away from the shopping experience.

In addition, the store is really small and tight. There was barely enough space for a singular human to walk in the aisle. The whole atmosphere gives a very oppressive vibe and uncomfortable, potentially make it hard to breathe(pretty sure if you faint the manager will make you pay for fainting). I will never come back to this store again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The security guard here is discriminatory and rude. Not once have I shoplifted from this store and I have been consistently coming for 5 years yet several times he has made me go to reception and get a receipt in front of everyone. Since then I’ve started getting a receipt whenever I buy yet he still, when I show him both the products and the receipts, checks specifically my bag every time while several other people who are not brown or black walk past. It’s humiliating and rude to come in for my medication and be treated with such suspicion EVERY TIME. I see there are several reviews for security and that is for a reason. I have tried speaking to him nicely about his singling out of me but his response was disproportionate and uncalled for. I will be taking my service to another store from now onwards since Chemist Warehouse Haymarket is more concerned with discriminatory loss prevention tactics than the right of their customer to walk out without feeling humiliated and uncomfortable.

Right from the moment you step in the door, it’s a negative experience. Chemist Warehouse’s are notorious for being overstimulating in general - well, this one takes the cake! The aisles are so unbelievably narrow that you can barely fit through. Last time I got a script filled there they were judgemental and whispering amongst each other, as well as asking me several questions in a very interrogative manner. I’ve got that medication at a few other places and never had an issue.
I refuse to go here again. There’s much nicer chemists along the light rail line in the main Chinatown area.

I’m pretty amazed by how professional one of the pharmacist here. Too bad I don’t know her and can’t mention her. As an international student, I feel warm when she assists me so much. My gp prescribed me an antibiotic but the describe was abit unclear. She helped me to phone and re-instruct me. Moreover, also offer to take probiotic along with the antibiotic. I’m thankful for this.

Even in the worse, something good also happened.

I had an amazing interaction with the pharmacist Amy today 5/3 she went above and beyond to make sure I was getting the best possible deal and also went above and beyond to makes sure I knew how to use my medication - you could tell she really cared about her clients. Thank you Amy!

Something just happened that made me angry in this store. I wanted to see if there was a discount on the facial cleanser I had always wanted to buy before, so I passed by and went in to have a look! But I didn't find the one I liked. By the way, I looked at other products that were not suitable. I was about to leave (my backpack was on my back, and there were staff checking the goods back and forth). Just as I was about to go out, the Indian security guard stopped me and wanted to check my pocket and backpack. I didn't have any serious discrimination at all. The act of putting things in the pocket or backpack! I have a bottle of Swisse collagen powder that I am eating in my backpack! Unexpectedly, he even asked me to open it to see if I was taking a new product instead of it! But it is obvious that my bottle is old and there are traces of opening and using it! And I told him that it was my own. When I opened it, the powder was sprayed all over my schoolbag! Serious discrimination! I won't come to this store, and I don't recommend anyone to come to this store.
