Had an appointment booked in for months and months, even booked in my child's therapist to come with us for the appointment, only to show up for my appointment and to be rudely told I definitely didn't have an appointment today and everyone got a message about it.
I would not have showed up at 9am with my two children and my child's therapist if I was told they were moving and my appointment was no longer being honoured.
Not the first time I've had a terrible experience there. I'd give 0 stars if it was an option.

This review is for the clinics triage process, as we haven’t even gotten through to seeing the paeds.

They apparently get 50 referrals a day. My child’s referral was sent in last week for suspicious URT symptoms. When I rang they said the referral hadn’t even been looked at to be triaged. Apparently the doctors do their own triage, which seems to be an odd process when they’re clearly incredibly busy and must be then doing triage inbetween consults.

At best - they’re reviewing cases and triaging but doing so slowly. At worst, you could imagine things getting overlooked.

You can’t control referral volumes, you can control and improve your own processes. If I was this practice I’d be getting a triage dedicated nurse.

You would be seen quicker driving to Melbourne or Sydney.

This practice regularly runs very late and they think it's acceptable, they won't even try and do anything to prevent it, they j it at believe you should put your life on hold for as long as it takes.
No accountability for their actions. If I had my time over, I wouldn't choose this practice.
Note. The individual paediatricians are wonderful, but the business is run poorly.

We have been using this clinic since my son was a toddler. Dr Christie was amazing with him, know I take my nieces and nephew Dr Newsom his been fantastic with these kids, he talks to them and explains things to them so they understand. We haven't had a bad experience yet. 😃

The paediatrician was good but receptionists need alot of training in the basics of politeness, listening to what it is the customer is saying or asking them instead of going through the motions and behaving more like a robot then an empathetic human being who is generally interested and concerned with the client and not treat them like a cash register.

I would give 0 stars if I could! I have taken my 2 children both under 18 months old to 2 seperate paediatricians at Albury Wodonga Paediatric Group, both have told me your child has this condition and handed me a pamphlet then whisked me out to the door before charging me an exorbitant consultation fee.
When asked any questions about such conditions they can not give a straight answer always fluffing around the answer so you leave with even more questions and worries for your child's health than what you started with.

I won't be returning with my children here in future!

Our referral was in triage for nearly 3 months. When we finally got an appointment, they were running behind, we waited for an hour and a half.
The paediatricians were good with my daughter when she was seen, she needed to go to a further specialist though.
This was also a painful process as I had to follow up as referrals never made it to specialists. I ended up having to do it myself.
So disappointing with the health system lately.

My son has been seeing Dr Christie for a few years now and is absolutely lovely. Wish I could say the same about some of the reception staff. Some are lovely but majority are rude and uncaring. Not willing to help at all. It's already hard enough with a special needs child without the people that you are asking to help you pretty much laughing in your face!
