Just came here for a check up. Accidentally didn’t book long enough appointment. The receptionist was extremely hostile about this, saying they don’t have enough time to do everything that they’re required to do. Also wasn’t that pleased with the doctor I had seen, as all the questions I was asking they kept saying I’m not sure. Complete waste of time and going to have to see another GP elsewhere now.

I’d also like to add that she mentioned that I was late (it was About three minutes) And said that is another reason why they won’t be able to fulfil my appointment. And then proceeds to tell me that my doctor is with another patient anyway so he was also running late. Not sure where she gets her audacity from.

As a newcomer to the area, and a recent arrival from New Zealand, I was very impressed with my first dealings with this practice. I was offered an appointment the day I enquired about becoming a patient, even though I chose to leave it to the following week. I saw Dr Emily Wu who was so easy to talk to, regarding my existing conditions and how the system works over here. She arranged referrals for me, wrote a script, and got reception to scan in my hard copy notes I had brought. On both days the receptionists were welcoming and patient, again explaining anything I was unsure of. Excellent service!

Great doctors that we visit but pathetic receptionist.
We've been regular at this facility for the last 5 years and still I've to admit that the person at front desk is the worst fit for her job. I still love the doctors at this facility but did I mention what a pathetic receptionist? Well she is quite rude and annoying.

Since I don't have the option to further respond, I'm appalled by the fact that centre called me back and argued with me for good 15 minutes making me feel bad for the bad review I've put. For 2 months we've been ping ponged by the facility for our baby's vaccine and not once we complained. Just when it came down to returning the favour that's what we get back. An extremely arrogant receptionist and an offended one calling us back to fight with us over the phone.

The service at the reception is non existent. These people are rude, give inaccurate information about things they have no clue about and then insist the doctors back them up.

There is a pattern of bad treatment of people by these receptionist and the background of the people who have been treated badly, just look at the 1 start reviews and you will understand what is it that I am trying to say.

I had no issues with paying for my appointment. When informed of the fee, I accepted it without question because it seemed reasonable. My concern is not about the payment but rather how the service was handled and the misleading information provided.

Regarding the misinformation: as soon as I mentioned the purpose of my appointment, the receptionist stated that patients must remain with the clinic for 24 months. I’m unclear where this figure comes from, as it does not correspond to any information I received beforehand. If this incorrect detail was relayed to the doctor, it could have negatively influenced their judgment. This reflects a significant communication error on the part of the receptionist.

I can provide screenshots as evidence. I never received multiple calls as claimed, so I respectfully ask that the facts be accurately represented.

This response only further underscores my broader concern: the clinic appears to have a history of poor treatment toward minority patients. A glance at the one-star reviews reveals a troubling pattern of such experiences.

Finally, I am deeply troubled by the clinic’s public disclosure of personal information. Confidentiality is essential for all patients, regardless of background. This is not the first instance of such incompetence, the clinic has previously posted someone had covid in response to their one star review. I have documented these issues and intend to file a formal complaint with the relevant authorities.

I have had deeply disappointing experiences with the reception staff at this clinic. From the moment you call and provide your name, there is a clear sense of bias in the way they interact with non-white patients. They frequently provide incorrect information on matters they seem unfamiliar with and insist that the doctors follow their lead, which can negatively impact patient care.

When attempting to file a complaint, they refuse to provide their names—perhaps to avoid accountability for their behavior. This is especially unfortunate because the doctors at this clinic are professional and competent, but the front desk staff’s discriminatory attitude is tarnishing their reputation. I am not the only one with this observation as well, if you pay attention to bad reviews you will know. I hope the management takes immediate action to address these concerns, as no patient should have to experience such treatment

Every Doctor could learn so much from Doctor Ellis and should follow her as an example of how to be a caring, professional, thorough and extremely knowledgeable Physician!

Doctor Ellis actually takes the time to listen and understand your medical issues, follows through with referrals and tests etc., and then makes certain you understand your health issues and what you need to do to get the correct treatment and how to look after yourself.

Doctor Ellis has been the prominent force in actually saving my life!
