Visited Fairfield medical centre for first time last week. The receptionists were really nice. However l, my GP appointment didn’t feel pleasant, the doctor didn’t share any helpful tips, suggested that I should just go home and rest. Gave me a medical certificate and that’s it. When I got out the door to pay, the receptionist even mentioned “oh that was quick” and I had to pay $90 dollars for that. Didn’t seem right — I’m sad that it went this way. I really thought it was a good medical centre, fairfield is such a nice place too.

Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Drs make you feel heard and seen, very attentive and they really break things down for you and take the time to explain information

Amazing clinic, Dr Ayoub is the best GP I have ever dealt with. Kind, exceptionally talented and caring. I would give 6 stars if possible.

Visited Dr Princy George for one off consult while other GP was away. She was rude, dismissive and provided incorrect information. Went to her with longstanding Covid complications wanting to get a chest x-ray and other tests, she was dismissive and said 'there's nothing I can do for you' and was hurrying to get me out the door. Gave me incorrect info about immune impacts of medication and was uncaring and disinterested. She left me feeling bullied and unsupported. Not great for someone experiencing chronic health issues. I had to wait for regular GP (different clinic) to return to get referrals for xray and US, immunology referrals and correct info regarding medications. Do not bother with Princy.

Dr Ayoub is an amazing doctor but it seems like this lady at the reception today, who I haven’t seen there before, is not able to even check in a patient. I was a bit early for my appointment which is why I couldn’t check in at the screen. The lady told me that the doctor is running slightly behind. When I got curious about the long wait time and asked the other lady at the reception it turned out that I was never checked in. I had to wait over one and a half hours after my appointment time to be seen by the doctor. When I asked the lady if she did check me in she responded with “I thought I did”, she didn’t even apologize and still other patients were seen by the doctor before me. Then again, instead of letting me know about the wait time, I again had to walk up to her and ask. This is absurd and ruined my amazing experience at this clinic to date. I sincerely hope that they reconsider hiring this person.

The receptionists are pretty useless. I made an appointment a week in advance, sat in the waiting room for an hour waiting, asked if I was going to be seen, then told the gp cancelled my appointment because of an emergency but they failed to tell me. What a waste of time. This isn’t the first time the receptionist have screwed me around. Once it took 3 receptionist to understand I just needed to change an appointment time. GPs are lovely, avoid the front desk

I was told multiple times that I had test results that had to be discussed.

I was then told by the reception that they cannot share the tests directly with me and that I needed to discuss it with my doctor.

As I was out of town I needed a phone appointment which costs $40 out of pocket. The phone call lasted 1 minute with the doctor telling me no issues and everything came back ok.

Seriously poor customer experience from a clinic clearly trying to maximize the number of appointments to make extra money.

How ironic that they still have warnings about covid-19 yet charge extra for phone calls and maximize the number of times you have to go into the clinic, even if completely unnecessary.
