Highly recommend Geelong Urgent Care Clinic in Belmont. I attended tonight at 9.10pm. Even though they don't normally take new patients after 9.00pm, they promptly attended to me. I would like to thank the doctor on duty(Catherine), the nurse and the lady on the desk. Not only were they very helpful and friendly, their professionalism was top class. I will be recommending this clinic to everyone l know. Thanks again

From the phone call to get my son in, to the care from the nurse and doctor for a 3 year old was exceptional. They were kind caring and engaging to make him feel safe. Hats off to the staff there for making the visit pleasant, smoothe and making my son feel super comfortable.

After calling virtual ED they suggested I go to geelong hospital or geelong urgent care where I may be seen quicker.

I went to geelong urgent care with a serious infection down my finger, and my finger turning black. Whilst I was seen quickly, the older female doctor tried to cut my finger open with no pain relief.

When I screamed / cried she said ‘well with a reaction like that I won’t be continuing’. And just rolled her eyes at the nurse. I suggested she numb the finger first, the nurse agreed. The doctor just said no that’s not an option.

I asked her for some pain relief, she told me to go to my GP. I ended up at my GP, then eventually in geelong emergency where they numbed the finger and removed the nail.

This clinic / this doctor needs to be investigated by the government.
Do not waste your time on this place, do not risk your health. go straight to emergency.

The receptionist and the nurse on duty think they own the place. What a disgusting way of treating pts especially very sick little child. All they could say was oh wait time is 2-3 hours as both of them had no care at all. Despite saying that's fine as long as we can see a doctor as my special need child was very sick and coughing non stop. The nurse came out and ask confidential details right front of all the other pts using disgusting languages definitely you both are wrong profession as my self being a health care worker we never treat our pts in such manner.

This urgent care center is a disappointment. I visited with my 5-year-old child and was shocked by the long wait despite arriving early, while others who came later were seen first.
The nursing staff seemed apathetic and unfriendly, giving the impression that they felt entitled to their positions. When a nurse assessed my child's condition - vomiting, fever, and stomach pain - she deemed it "not urgent," which was insensitive and concerning. Given this experience, I'd advise others to consider visiting the emergency department instead, especially with kids.

Disappointed to read these reviews however unfortunately, I felt as though the receptionist didn't really care. Felt like I was wasting her time. The nurse was lovely. The receptionist had red hair and seemed more interested and lively when she was talking with her friends.

I just want everyone to know that the staff at the Geeling Urgent Care Clinic in Belmont, are amazing. I went in not understanding the procedure and was met with the loveliest nurse who went and organised for my elderly mother to have her arm plastered. I then had to return the following day as my mother had removed her plaster. My mother had an accident in my car and I was left lost as to what to do. Well the amazing Roz and Verell, took care of my mum. These 2 ladies went above and beyond. And I can't thank them enough. Well done ladies!!

The receptionist with red hair is something else. Had an incredibly bad migraine where I was vomiting non stop and in need of some relief. After telling her why I am here she loudly says so everyone can hear “just so you know we can’t prescribe pain medication “, as if I am a junkie after opioids. When I finally seen by a nurse she tells me to go to back emergency even though they told me to go to urgent care because they were too busy! The urgent care website states they deal specifically with migraines 🙄
