Anybody living with chronic pain or watching a loved one suffer with chronic pain will appreciate and understand just how important it is to find a specialist that is knowledgeable, yet empathetic and supportive. Chronic pain can be a very silent deliberating illness. Its invisibility has the potential to be met with skepticism and judgement by non sufferers, making it very easily misunderstood. The stigma is stifling.

We only recently moved from Melbourne to regional Victoria, and the thing that concerned me the most was finding a new Chronic Pain Specialist for my husband to see closer to where we live.

I am so grateful I had the courage to pick up the phone and make that first call to Pain Matrix for my husband. The entire team greet you with warmth and kindness. You feel heard, validated and understood. This is a treatment facility where they problem solve even while our specialist Dr McCoy was on leave.

As a pain patient I found GP can overlook your pain and not understand it, the team at Pain Matrix are amazing at working towards solutions to help patients and acknowledge that pain is something that needs to be managed and supported.
The rooms are clean, professional and welcoming. All the staff are vibrant and enjoy their jobs which gives the patient an excellent experience when attending the practice.
