I support a number of young people that have been engaged with Shake Counselling over the last 12 months. The work that Jaxsyn, Will and the wider shake team do is incredible and we have seen a huge amount of growth in the boys. Seeking support for mental health can be tough especially for teenage boys. Shake are able to engage and connect with young people using such innovative therapeutic strategies. Session are individually tailored to suit differing needs and communication styles of each young person. The shake team offer support to not only the young people they work with but also the wider care team. Can’t recommend Shake Counselling enough!!

I cannot thank Shake Counselling enough for the impact they had on my students! All counsellors were able to form really strong relationships with students who have additional learning needs. They were able to tailor their program to be more relatable to the boys and provide them much needed life skills to assist with their personal and emotional development! I saw students in a completely different light and Shake provided a space for students to be calm and really support each other! Could not approve of Shake more and everyone should support their program as it vital!

Shake Counselling provide an outstanding service for young people. The facility includes a basketball court, gym equipment, PlayStation and plenty of room to have a chat to the Counsellors and Mentors. Jaxsyn and his team have truly created a space dedicated to young people using movement-based activities whilst having the skills, knowledge and passion to support young people in need.

My sons have both been going to shake, my eldest who is now seventeen started when he was 14. Jaxsyn is phenomenal with my eldest son.Their approach and connection from the shake team with the kids is phenomenal. Can’t thank the team enough for the work they do with our kids!
