I had the most amazing experience at Maternal and Infant Wellbeing Melbourne for my Glucose Tolerance Test (GTT)—yes, a medical test that somehow felt like a luxury retreat!

From the moment I arrived, the team was so warm, kind, and professional. Nadia, my incredible massage therapist, was absolutely amazing, and the nurse administering my blood tests was just as gentle and reassuring. The whole experience was so calming and relaxing that I actually fell asleep on the day bed in my last hour!

I walked out completely refreshed, floating on a cloud, and with a stash of delicious snacks! Who knew a GTT could feel like a spa day?

I could not recommend them highly enough. If you’re looking for expert care in a truly nurturing and relaxing environment, this is the ultimate place to go.

I had my Glucose Tolerance Test (GTT) at Maternal Infant and Wellbeing Melbourne. I was really nervous about the process after hearing the glucose drink was awful and it made expecting mothers feel unwell. The whole experience at MIWM was relaxing and calm and a great way to do the test. The staff were lovely, clinic was beautiful and I’d recommend it to anyone needing the test done.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I did the Day Stay experience and the care you receive on the day and following up is just phenomenal. They support you and sometimes challenge you in the most compassionate way. The support I received helped me to trust my own instincts and enjoy motherhood so much more! I’m grateful that I could have an experience like this and share it with anyone who will listen that they should try to have a day stay here. Postpartum and early motherhood isn’t that scary when you have these wonders in your corner. My only regret was that I waited so long to go and get the support I needed. A huge heartfelt THANK YOU to all the ladies at MIWM.

I’m so glad I booked a day stay at Maternal and Infant Wellbeing! Amber has a wonderful team of professionals ready to pamper you! My stay started with a lovely chat with Amber herself, she assessed my feeding techniques and gave me a few tips that were SO SO helpful! I’d recommend having a session with her no matter how your breastfeeding journey is going. She’s a legend💛 She even noticed the early signs of bub’s eczema, which helped me get it under control. I also loved my session with Rachel, the osteo, she’s a magician tbh! 30 minutes with her improved my posture so much! There’s also a lovely mother’s helper (I wish I could remember her name😕) who looks after bub while you get a spa massage or take a nap. Plus, there are snacks, beverages, and lunch in the afternoon. I’d definitely want to visit again for a day of pampering🧡💜

Amazing experience having the Glucose Tolerance Test (GTT) at Maternal Infant and Wellbeing Melbourne. I would highly recommend it, I was nervous about the GTT because everyone had told me the drink was horrible and that I would feel sick. I’m happy to say that the experience at MIWM was one of relaxation and calm. What better way to get your GTT done than by having a facial while you wait and having somewhere comfortable and relaxing to wait out the time of each test and then be given snacks at the end! All the staff were wonderful and friendly too. Thank you!

I was reluctant to call and book with MIWM because I was concerned I would get non-helpful or conflicting advice on issues I was having with my breasts and feeding my baby. I was so wrong, I wish I called them earlier! I called to make an appointment with Dr Amber Hart but she was not available for weeks so I got to see Dr Amy Doyle and she was exceptional.

She didn't rush through our appointment. She listened to my concerns and didn't dismiss them as silly. Not only did she help resolve the pain and soreness issues I was having she taught me a feeding technique which has enabled me to keep on breastfeeding my baby. Amy is wonderful, empathetic and really caring. I really felt comfortable with her during our appointment.

If you are in doubt about making an appointment, don't - it is worth the cost of an appointment and more. This is my second baby and I wish I had a resource like MIWM when I had my first baby. Highly recommended.

Went to MIWM for the GTT experience and cannot recommend it more highly! Having notoriously bad veins and experiences with blood tests, Sam and the team were so kind and caring. Felt more like being at a day spa than getting a medical check up. The massage was bliss and so relaxing, the day room was a great space to relax and the drink was made deliciously chilled and served as a beautiful cocktail! Every person deserves this type of experience and care! Will definitely be coming back for post partum care!
