The negative reviews I find surprising as I had nothing but a positive experience in such a stressful time. From the initial phone call to make the appointment, from entering reception, speaking with nurse/doctor, all were very lovely and informative. Did not have to wait long at all, however I never felt rushed either, and any questions I had were answered. I 100% am confident in recommending MSI Richmond.

When booking I was given a run down of what to expect and that’s exactly how it went. Took about an hour since I had scans done already, I saw the dr and nurse independently before my partner could join (excellent procedure for ensuring patient safety), my concerns regarding current medical conditions were addressed and I was even provided further information about facilities that offer IUDs under anaesthesia (which I’ve been struggling to find). I was concerned about strangers judging me for even being near the clinic but it’s located in such a vague corporate area with very little going on I barely saw anyone. I am very happy with the care I was given, thank you.

Went in to find out I wasn’t far enough along to proceed with the procedure. The doctor didn’t even see me to confirm my estimate of how far along I was, was accurate. The main issue I have is that although the website prompted me that I needed to be over 6 weeks, it still allowed me to proceed even after I provided details that I was 5 weeks 4 days. I paid the $100 booking fee and went to the appointment to be told by reception that they couldn’t proceed and was told they wouldnt refund the $100 booking fee. They said if I was to re-book then i would be charged an additional $150 for a consultation fee but would transfer my $100 booking fee, so I’d still be out an extra $150 on top of the cost for the service. Considering the situation and the sensitive services this organisation provides, you would think they would be considerate enough to refund the $100. They didn’t earn that money, instead they made $100 off a vulnerable woman in a terrible situation. I was left feeling embarrassed and incredibly upset, to the point where I couldn’t help but cry as I was told they wouldnt refund me
I would consider using an alternative service to avoid any confusion or loss of money. Their reviews speak for itself.

They cancelled my booking and didn’t contact me. Having taken time off work to have a procedure done and showing up to be told you don’t even have an appointment is a complete lack of professionalism. Have now spent 2-3 hours over the phone to arrange a refund and they are telling me within 30 business days I should see the funds reflected on my account. They have shown zero sensitivity and I would discourage anyone from booking ANY procedure with this company

For the price you’re paying you’d expect decent service.
I waited over an hour just to be seen.
Taken in for part of the consult before being sent back to the waiting room for another 45 minutes whilst they took in others for their appointment. People are in an out about 3-4 times.
The staff are nice but the wait time for such an anxiety inducing appointment is just not acceptable for the cost.
Partner was not allowed to join for anything except when I insisted for a
brief moment to discuss options.

These three stars are for the staff ONLY, they were exceptional and could not fault them. It would have been 5, however, you NEED to remove your aftercare nurse Carmen from your roster. I had issues with a procedure and there was NO advice, support or follow up offered which is extremely concerning. I was told "Go visit your GP" on two separate occasions. I'm sorry but I didn't just pay a fair amount of money for a procedure and I don't expect to have to follow up with a medical professional who did not actually do the procedure and has no knowledge of it themselves. This is incredibly poor and not expected when Marie Stopes have a duty of care with their patients. I was recommended this clinic but would not do the same to others.
