Don’t bother. Like other people who have left a review I have spent the last month calling and nothing happens. Just baffling. Oh and they don’t accept general referrals. You need to go the gp and get a referral specially addressed to them that they can then ignore. What a waste of time and effort (and money).

Update after response: That's great news re accepting general referrals. As I was acting on your staff's advice that I needed to go back and get a referral addressed specifically to you, and that the general referral I had was not acceptable, so incurred an out of pocket expense (this was all explained to them and I believe they said "yes the mental health system is hard to navigate") please confirm you will be reimbursing this expense? Also I called at least eight times over the period of four weeks, not just once.

The Village Family Mental Health Clinic has been an incredible support system for me and has helped in transforming my life after the loss of my daughter last year. The profound empathy and expert care provided by Mary Orfanidis and Dr. Yasaman Adli have been nothing short of extraordinary. Their approach is not only deeply compassionate, highly personalised, helping me to find a path forward in some of my most painful and agonising time in my life.

Mary's gentle guidance insightful counsel have given me the tools to cope more effectively with my grief. They have taught me resilience and how to honor my daughter's memory in a way that brings me peace. Her support has been so amazing, showing me that even in immense sorrow, growth and healing are possible even when I thought there was plenty of times over the last year I wanted to give up.

The environment at the clinic, supported by the wonderful front desk staff, is always warm and welcoming. They go out of their way to accommodate my needs, making each visit as comfortable as possible. Their politeness and eagerness to assist are not just appreciated but truly impactful, making every interaction a reminder that kindness and professionalism can go hand in hand.

I am immensely grateful to the Village Family Mental Health Clinic and especially to Mary Orfanidis and Dr. Yasaman Adli. Their dedication and support have not only helped me manage my grief but have significantly improved my overall well-being. This clinic is a haven for anyone in need of mental health support, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

This is the first time that I write a review but I felt this is my responsibility!
Honestly I would give negative star if I could!
Last November I got a referral for Dr Claire Cody. I contacted the clinic and sent the referral. I was told in 2-3 weeks I would be told if would get an appointment. I did not receive an answer, contacted again, they said: "we will call you in a week"! I called every month, nothing! I thought it must be due to pandemic and stayed calm. But they just needed to let me know if they would give me an appointment or not and they did not even progress to that stage! After about 8 calls, finally last week told them "Either you will let me know if you will see me by this afternoon or I'll give you a review you deserve!" And yet, no return call, called again in the afternoon and said I was too patient and respectful!
This is the most disrespectful and unprofessional clinic I've ever seen or heard.

A month ago my doctor sent a referral for me to see Dr Tina Thomas, after waiting two weeks to hear anything I called the clinic to find out if I could get an appointment, at the time I was told that my referral had to be reviewed by the Doctor first, this apparently takes 2-3 weeks, then apparently I would get a call to advise if I could get an appointment. I continued to wait and today finally got a call which I missed, the woman who called left me a voicemail to say that I had been declined. Now I understand that the pandemic has meant an increase in the need for mental health services but this is honestly horribly unprofessional! Not only did it take a month to get back to me but the only thing I got was a voicemail saying I’d been declined, no details on why or anything else, just declined. Now for somewhere that offers mental health services you would think that you would think about how the person who has been referred is possibly feeling and maybe not just leave them a voice mail saying they have been declined without details. I don’t usually leave reviews for anything but as there is very little information out there for people to go off when trying to find a Doctor and the lengthy wait to even get reviewed here let alone get an appointment I thought it worthwhile noting my experience. Honestly please don’t bother with this place, they obviously don’t care and will likely make your mental health worse.

After paediatric urgent referral, a couple of months wait to only be told today that they aren’t accepting new patients. I could have been told about the dismal situation and lack of access 2 months ago.
Now we need an urgent appointment for the paediatrician to tell them that these people are useless.

This place is totally a joke and looking for your money, not worried about your actual mental health or issues. Both receptionists were absolutely useless, what an embarrassment to have them as the first point of contact for your business. “Psychiatrist” ‘listened’ to me for 2+ hours and then decided I didn’t need to see one, even though I have seen multiple in the past and never had one say that to me EVER, then charged me $600 because she didn’t wanna see me again and I would only have her for one appointment, rather than the 3 I had already been forced to book originally. Wasn’t explained to me verbally or in the documents provided that I would be charged $600 for being rejected and told there’s no reason for you to be here. I’ve never been so upset when I’m just trying to help and improve myself. Waste of time. Please don’t waste your money.

I'm so thankful for the care received at the Village. The staff went out of their way to help me and my doctor is wonderful.

Huge let down. Waiting six months with a referral and then get a call advising me to look elsewhere. Very poor.
