Was seeing the physiotherapist with no issues but scans showed hip dysplasia and cam lesion so I was recommended to see the sport doctor who said the scans were wrong and the radiologists don’t know what they are talking about. He also said I have normal range of motion (I have Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome). I was shown the door with directions to strengthen and that there was nothing wrong but that I should continue seeing the specialists there to strengthen.

My GP sent me to a reputable Ortho Surgeon in Melbourne who said not only do I have severe instability on my left hip from roof top dysplasia but I also have impingement on the right side which is continuously rubbing along one of my muscles. He also said I have severe structural femoral anteversion causing patellar tilts to the knees and because my range of motion is the same of the hypermobility of a baby, that my case is so complex with 4 possible points of corrective surgery, it will be presented at a hip preservation meeting with 5 other high end surgeons where they will each give their opinions and the best courses of action as they need to make sure I don’t become more unstable if my femurs are corrected or if they fix the impingement or the instability of my left side.

I was told by multiple medical professionals after that appointment at OSM that it’s best that OSM aren’t part of my team going forward which was disappointing for me to experience in the end.

Practitioner I had seen was rude and short. I waited over an hour the first appointment for 2 minutes of his time, he didn’t listen to my story just sent me on my way to get scans. My second appointment returning with scans he essentially told me to lose weight and to ignore my pain as for my scenario a reconstruction would be too hard. He was rude again, did not listen to me and when I asked what I should be doing as a preventative he literally got up and walked to the door stating “booting you out” because I had used more than 5 minutes of his time. Horrible experience. I felt judged, unheard and disrespected. Wouldn’t recommend.

Dr Luke Spencer operated on my 2 badly torn rotator cuff tendons and realigned my bicep tendon just over a year ago. The recovery and rehab was challenging and long as I was told it would be but I have gone from pain so bad I couldn’t sleep before surgery to being pain free now. Excellent surgeon, great post surgery care and follow up and a really nice guy as well. Thanks Dr Luke and staff.

I attended to have a cast & stitches removed from my broken leg. Dr. Luke Spencer, & Theatre Nurse Kylie were caring, professional, & friendly. After Nurse Kylie had fitted me with a Moon Boot, I went to Mr. Simon Lewis, in the same building, and he gave me exercises to do at home. Simon was excellent to deal with. Ebony, the receptionist in Simon's area, was also friendly, efficient & professional. If you must endure a broken whatever, the team here will make it more bearable. Thanks.UPDATE I've now also been treated by Mr. Matthew Linger, who l found to be friendly, professional, and able to clearly explain matters. Once again, the front-of-house staff, Abby, and a young chap in about his third week, were very friendly & polite.

4 years ago I had a life changing accident when I had a fall resulting in shoulders & neck damage.
MR LUKE.BLUNDEN has been my absolute rock.
Luke has shown me so many strength exercises & has given me the ability to move forward in a positive manner.
Luke also listens when I just need an ear to express my frustration over pain & always gives me fantastic encouragement!
In my opinion ,Luke is the best physiotherapist I have been to & can highly recommend him to anyone that requires his services!

Practitioner was rude and unhelpful, he offered no solution or help with the issue which I saw him about being my knee pain, instead he said I was fat and had to loose weight.
I understand that I am overweight and I am currently waiting for a surgeon book an appointment to discuss weight loss surgery. I am unhappy that he refused to help me in any way with my knees, yet still charged me $190 for 5 minutes of his time.

Their website states - "For degenerative wear and tear issues, our team of specialist surgeons and physicians provide our patients with the very best in the treatment and care ranging from advice, exercise, injections, reconstructions, realignments, and where necessary joint replacement surgery. " There is no mention on their website that they cannot help people that are over weight.

My experience with Ballarat Sports Medicine is that they are unable to offer the service which they advertise and shouldn't be charging a fee for no service.

Saw the “so called “ exercise physiologist /pain management guy , total waste was rude and extremely unhelpful, had disk and spinal stenosis issue yet he refused to acknowledge any scans or MRIs I had previously and kept saying it was my hip flexor and told me to stretch it

Absolutely flog , don’t waste your money
