The admin staff are not good, they don't make appointments as they say they have. The actual psychologists are great but trying to get an appointment to see them is very difficult. They need to change their practiser and allow clients to make appointments directly with the psychologists.

I gave the clinic two stars, only because when on the extremely rare occasion a booking WAS made and kept by staff, the therapist seemed decent and competent.
The administration of this clinic need a complete overhaul. One person never knows what the other is doing. When you speak to someone, you WILL have to repeat yourself to the next person you speak with, because nobody took notes.
We have waited MONTHS for my child to see a therapist after a violent assault. We were sent an email, and agreed to, an appointment they had booked in for today. Luckily I had no faith in their administration, from past experiences of trying to get an appointment in the first place, so I phoned them this morning to double check the time and location of my child’s appointment. Sure enough, they FORGOT TO BOOK THE APPOINTMENT!!!
The person I spoke to this time, said he could see the email that I was sent, confirming my child’s booking, but someone had forgot to book it in. So now we have to wait AGAIN. This is absolutely appalling treatment of a child who has suffered from violent assaults. Now the clinic is COMPOUNDING THAT TRAUMA by promising necessary therapy that they ‘forgot’ about.
I don’t know if it’s nepotism, or just flat out laziness, but something needs to be done about the administration staff. It doesn’t matter how good therapists are, if you can’t even get in the door to see them.

Rescheduled my appointment many times and took money out on a date that was not agreed upon and didn't provide an invoice so I could pay the bill the organization is abysmal.

A historic building is located across Target Ballarat. It's a great place with all experienced psychologists. The interior was welcoming, not too modern, warm and not like a hospital. So it's perfect for some clients who may have a phobia of white gowns or anything clinical.
