Recently I had a great experience at Mission Healthcare in Wendouree.
I had made an appointment to have my Flu and Covid injections and did not have to wait at all on arrival at the clinic. I received friendly professional care and prompt payment.

I can't speak highly enough of Mission Healthcare. Been a regular patient here for approximately 3 years now. I can book online for doctor of my choice using the super quick and efficient HotDoc app. Then follows a confirmation of my appointment, followed by a reminder and option to confirm or reschedule. The reception staff on arrival are pleasant and competent. The whole operation runs like clockwork and I've yet to experience a wait time of longer than 10 minutes. My doctor, Azzam Chouhdry is patient and extremely thorough. He genuinely takes my health issues on board and has steered and encouraged me to alter my lifestyle to the betterment of my health.

Mission Healthcare is my “go to” for myself and my family. I am always able to get an appointment promptly, the doctors usually run on time or very close, and they are responsive to the patient’s needs. An added bonus is the way the doctors work collaboratively- if someone is not available, another doctor is able to follow up. Highly recommend!

I have never felt so belittled, scared and nervous in a doctors office like I did today. I have never left a doctors hyperventilating and crying until today. I had to book with this clinic as my matter was urgent and couldn’t get in to see my regular GP.

Dr Azam Chowdury was intimidating, very passive aggressive and rude. The whole appointment he sat there and abused me for many things that were out of my control (surgeon,gps decisions in my treatment), pain management and for booking in to see him on a Saturday.

He was angry that he didn’t have my details although I have them to the front desk prior to an appointment. He asked where my normal doctor is and I said Ballarat only to have the remarks “Well Ballarat is a big place” in a rude comment I then started crying saying that I will find the address for him.

He then proceeded to have ago at me due to being in a wait list for a specialist appointment and then snapped that it could take 6-8 months for an appointment.

I was absolutely petrified being in that office with him, I just wanted to walk out but I was scared.

There was no kindness, friendliness or compassion from this doctor at all even when I was balling my eyes out from his behaviour.

I have never been made to feel like this and I will NEVER be stepping foot bad in this clinic.

Dr Mandy I highly recommend, always makes me and my family feel comfortable and speak about anything that’s worrying us. She’s always there for us all and helps us get our health on track. I can’t thank Mandy enough always has time or goes out of your way to make time for us best Dr ever.

Rarely in recent times does an appointment mean a consultation at the designated time, especially in Medical circumstances. Mission Health Wendouree is an exception. Professional, friendly, and on time are the hallmarks of this wonderful practice.
