I had the worst experience today with my child who has Autisim, ADHD & Anxiety at this place. I booked him in a week ago for a x-ray and ultrasound of his bowel and advised the receptionist of his other medical conditions. The receptionist was very understanding and said she noted that info gave me all the prep instructions for the ultrasound. Today I received a call from another lovely receptionist who asked if we could come in for an earlier appointment today. No problem. We arrived at the amended appt time . We waited 20 minutes. My Son who is by now busting to go to the toilet (bladder full from drinking a litre of water) and getting anxious, angry and frustrated with me. I approached the receptionist and advised her of same and she promptly spoke to other staff of the problem and we went and had the x-ray. We then waited another 15 minutes in small dressing room where my Son was losing it and threatening to walk out and hitting me and stamping on my feet and wanting to empty his bladder. The pregnant Sonographer came and I told her of the problems we were experiencing and she told me they don't make allowances for people with disabilities and she didn't like my tone or my attitude and we should leave and make another appointment. I apologised to her if my tone was offensive but I'm frustrated and I didn't have an attitude problem and we couldn't go through this whole experience again. She then told me to leave and she would not do the ultrasound. I left the business crying with a child who very upset and angry about the whole ordeal. I have been to this business many times but after this experience will never ever give them my business again. suggest anyone with a child on the spectrum to never take children to this business. Rant over.
