Probably one of the worst GP experiences I've had in Melbourne. The reception staff was very nice and welcoming.
I saw Dr. Woodgate and I'm curious as to why she's a doctor. She showed no empathy for the topics we were discussing and little to no interest in general. Her info page says she's interested in mental health - if you're struggling with any mental health issues, do not see her.
I've never been so infuriated after leaving a doctor.

Parent’s experience very bad. Doctor prescribed antibiotics before pathology test and results to check or rule out infection which is bad medical practice. To get the test results by Telehealth the only options are pay full consult fee of over $100 or wait until later in the week for the 1 doctor who bulk bills. Parent is on aged pension with health care card. Basic, poor care, not person-focused at all.

Atrocious practice management and service.

- Received text message yesterday from clinic: "Get your child immunised now with the Flu Vaccine at Medical One Elwood. T:95319811 for your appt or book online medicalone.com.au".

- Called the clinic yesterday saying that I wanted to have my 4 YEAR OLD immunised asap (she is immunocompromised) and asked them to confirm that this is the 2025 dose. Clinic confirmed it was.

- Booked flu shot online under my daughter's name and birth date (ie it being clear that she is 4 YEARS OLD)

- Called the clinic today to ask whether it was ok for my 4 YEAR OLD to have the flu shot today if she had COVID recently - was told by Practice Manager that she "is not a doctor so does not know". Separately confirmed with Monash Children's Hospital that we should go ahead with shot.

- Arrived at the clinic for appointment. Waited 30mintes for a appointment.

- See Doctor and am told that cannot vaccinate her as they DO NOT have any stock of flu shots for kids under 5.

The Doctor was extremely apologetic and lovely to deal with. I asked to speak with the Practice Manager who was defensive and extremely unhelpful.

I’ve been seeing Dr Emadi since 2018. He has always provided exceptional medical treatment to me and my son. He has expansive medical knowledge and experience. He is compassionate and caring. A great listener, taking the time to really understand the problem. Respectful, thorough and professional. Highly recommended.

Dr Emadi was Terrible. We had a 10 minute appointment booked. Without even seeing us, he assessed that he didn’t have time in ten minutes to deal with all of my dying father’s ‘problems’ so told us to go home and book a longer appointment another day. He didn’t even bother to come out and talk to us himself. Just sent the receptionist to send us home. We waited two hours to speak to the doctor. He just wanted to fill out forms and send us away. So unprofessional and so lacking any care or compassion!
The receptionist was lovely. Not their fault at all. The doctor was astoundingly awful and rude.
