The doctor is fine but the office staff are absolute jerks. I waited 2 hours for a telehealth appointment that I was told specifically would happen in "around 30 minutes" from my initial call. When I asked about it, they told me "should be in an hour". When I got frustrated about a 3 hour wait after being told 30 minutes, the staff got very disrespectful and petty. I spoke to the doctor for 6 minutes because I requested a refund and all of a sudden he became available. I wasn't even told I was being forced into my visit anyways. Then after being prescribed 2 antibiotics that he said would be sent "immediately", my boyfriend waited 30 minutes at the CVS pharmacy and they didn't even send the prescription. I called and was put on hold nearly 20 minutes. I asked my boyfriend to call the office because I had suspicions the staff were purposely ignoring my call. He got through right away and they let him know my medications were sent over "5 minutes ago". When he got off the phone with them, I was STILL on hold. The CVS never got the prescriptions even. They are liars and they don't do their job. Very inappropriate and unprofessional.

UPDATE: Initial call was 3:08pm when I was told 30 minutes. It is now 6:11pm and my boyfriend is the only one able to get through to them to speak with them over the phone regarding MY prescriptions. I told them 4 times to send my antibiotics to the CVS. They just did finally ONLY after he asked the same exact thing, and did it incorrectly.

Went in for a follow up after seeing Dr. Raulerson at vista regarding my liver. Had to sit in my car for 15 mins after my appt. time even though I checked in 10 mins early. The ARNP had absolutely no clue why I was there. They had none of my lab reports, even the one ordered by Raulerson. They had nothing in my file. Dr. Said she would call me in a RX and even made sure my pharmacy was on file. Wasn't at pharmacy that afternoon so I texted and was told she'd do it after clinic. I explained that I live an hour away but my husband could pick up the next day as he would be in Gainesville. 10:30 am next day, no RX. Texted them that. 4:30 pm, no RX. Called. Apparently the Dr. Never noted an RX so they couldn't do anything until next week. What exactly did I pay $100.00 for? Had to have my mom, an RN explain my labs to me.

While I appreciate the caring demeanor of my provider at this office and the affordability as they accept insurance, I must express some significant concerns. Communication is primarily routed through receptionists or medical assistants, some of whom are less helpful and understanding than others, with no option for direct communication with the doctors via a portal. Additionally, there are limited options for changing providers, inconsistent availability, and long wait times. It often feels like managing medications independently, especially when unable to reach my original provider, Dr. Raulerson, due to his busy schedule. Furthermore, discussing changes with other providers is challenging as they are hesitant to make adjustments. While there are some benefits to this practice, such as affordability and accommodating specific needs, the lack of direct communication with doctors and difficulties in accessing them when needed detract from the overall experience and make it difficult to fully recommend this practice. It's worthwhile to drive a little farther out and transfer care to maintain one provider and consistency.

Been coming here for many years now. Doctor Gallogly is second to none and caring for his patients. He listens and gives good recommendations as well. I would recommend anyone to come here for their medical concerns. Dr. Robinson is an excellent counselor and has helped me with many things. Most recent the death of my mother. He really cares about people. I have never had any problems with staff or anyone else here. I'm grateful for Gainesville After Hours clinic.

See PROS and CONS below:
PROS:
*Good AC
*Free WiFi

CONS:
*Expensive Co-Pay
*Literally2 Chairs only in the lobby (bring your own chair just to be sure)
*Only TV is turned off
*Really Long Waiting time to get seen (I came in on a Weekday)

I came in the afternoon and got an initial screening after 1 hour after my scheduled appointment. Then I had to wait again in the next room for an additional couple of hours to get seen by the doctor.

Conclusion: I will never EVER comeback here again and NOT RECOMMEND this to anyone I care about.

My husband uses them as his primary, he had an infection in his leg from stitches. They gave him a telehealth appointment but never got back to him about the antibiotics he needed, and refused to help when he called them multiple times to get it into a pharmacy nearby as the infection worsened.
