Dr. Adesanoye has been exceptionally caring and takes the time to listen to patients like me who experience deep mental health challenges. It was so hard for me to find a doctor whom I can feel comfortable with. He has been very encouraging and positive which gives people like me some confidence and hope in life at least. Also I am very thankful that he took me on as a new regular client even though he had A LOT on his plate already. Receptionist has been lovely as well and very helpful!!

I had been a patient of Dr. Ademola Adesanoye for years and had nothing but positive experiences until recently. I booked a joint long appointment over the phone for my daughter and I for our six-week check-up.

My daughter was very briefly seen by the doctor, and we were then taken to another room where the nurse checked my blood pressure and gave my daughter her vaccines. After fifteen minutes, the nurse informed me that I was free to go despite the fact that I hadn’t been checked by the doctor. When I mentioned that I was expecting my six-week check, she seemed unaware and had to go and ask the doctor to come in.

When Dr. Adesanoye arrived, he was dismissive of my request for a proper check-up following my episiotomy. He seemed annoyed when I explained that I needed to ensure my healing was progressing well. He stated that the six-week check was only about blood pressure and made me feel like I was in the wrong for asking. When I asked if I could at least get a prescription for contraception, he suggested I either wait or rebook, which made me feel as though my concerns and health were not important.

Additionally, he repeatedly referred to my daughter as a boy during the appointment, which was highly unprofessional. It became clear that he doesn't bother to review his patients’ information before seeing them, other than their name.

I left the appointment more than 90 minutes after my scheduled time, feeling unheard, disrespected, and that my concerns had been dismissed. I’ve since sought care elsewhere and had a much better experience.

After speaking with other former patients of the clinic, I found out that none of them continue to see Dr. Adesanoye due to similar negative experiences. One person shared how they were made to feel uncomfortable and called a liar.

I am deeply disappointed in the change in the quality of care I’ve received and would not recommend this clinic to others.

Such a long extended process with an incompetent doctor and incompetent receptionist. We went to get a referral for an MRI which was fine, when we went back for the results, Dr Ademola said we needed to see a specialist, but couldn't suggest which one. He said he would do the referral that afternoon and that the receptionist would call me with the details. No phone call. It then took 3 WEEKS to get someone to answer the phone and was told the referral wasn't done but it would be that day. It was not done that day. We were informed a month later that the referral was declined because we had been referred to the wrong place. Back to Dr Ademola to get a new referral for outpatients at the Alfred Hospital. I then waited a week, called the Alfred and yet again, the referral had not been sent through. After a whole lot of mucking around, I managed to have the referral sent to me so I could get it sorted. I received it via email, sent it through to the Alfred and what a surprise, it was declined because it didn't have all the information need. Back to Dr Ademola AGAIN, to get the referral, including all information sent to me. During this appointment, he laughed continuously and said "I think I regret taking you on, I thought you would be easy but you're just difficult". I'm sorry what? Im difficult? So unprofessional.
Second issue was getting a care plan for a referral to a physiotherapist so we could access the 5 bulk billed sessions. He gave us a referral, we waited three weeks for an appointment and when we went to the appointment, we were informed it was a private clinic and do not accept bulk billed referrals at all.
Keep in mind all these issues related to my 17 year old daughter so pretty damn important. I recommend people stay far away if you want prompt, empathetic, and professional medical care.

Hi Dr. Addy, my husband was complaining he hasn’t been treated fairly. He had to beg you to prescribe him sleeping tablets.

Dr Ademola Adesanoye is terrible. He already made up his mind what he thought was wrong with me despite me explaining otherwise. Doesn’t listen and treats you like a number and not a person.

The doctor at this practice is knowledgeable and proactive. He listens carefully before making a diagnosis. The receptionist/nurse is very kind and friendly. Our whole family goes here and we highly recommend this place.

Wish I could give zero. Have been to this clinic three times. Two times with the doctor I had today. Both times he has been so disrespectful and abdolutely unhelpful.

The other doctor I had was great but Im going to assume he left because of this doctor.

There has been a different receptionist everytime.
Goodluck to the lovely receptionist that was working today.
She was the only positive part of the experience.

One plus is that hes mostly on time just at the expense of our medical attention bevause he literally pushes you out the door as you speak.

Made an appointment received confirmation, then was told when arrived doctor couldn't see my son as he didn't have his records and that he wasn't taking on new patients!! It took .a lot to get my son to go for mental health reasons, disgusting service, and dirty waiting rooms
