Banksia medical centre is an excellent choice for families and individuals alike. Both myself and my children have been patients at Banksia medical centre for some time now and I can honestly say that the care and service provided by the doctors and staff is of the highest quality. Dr Shiu is both clear and honest in his approach, yet sensitive to my families unique needs. Bernard is always quick to welcome us with a warm greeting and ask questions about our daily lives, but also works thoroughly and professionally to discuss medical issues at hand. It’s clear that not only is he an extremely good doctor, but he also cares about the patent experience. This friendly, yet professional manner also extends to all other staff, who make the patient experience smooth, warm and easy from the moment you walk in the door, to the time you leave. I absolutely trust that Bansia Medical Centre will always treat my family with integrity and to the highest degree of their professional ability.

Doctors at Banksia Medical Centre are extremely professional, and they really care about the patients. Besides being good doctors, they are also concerned about patients' feelings. My daughter does not like going to see doctors and she does not talk to the doctor too much, even when she was sick. She does not like to be examined by the doctors. She was not feeling too well one day, and I dragged her to see doctors in Banksia. Dr Jenny has been very nice to her and tried to make her feel comfortable first by talking to her about her school and friends before asking her about her problems. These tactics really smoothed out the process and my daughter could get the treatment that she needed.

Dr Chris is attentive and a great listener, he is hard to get a booking with but also tries his best to fit us in at last minute when we need it. Thank you Banksia staff for your great communication with us and we appreciate your care. You are definitely the best in Geelong.

Dr. Eric and Dr. Amanda have to be the kindest and most compassionate doctors I've ever had the pleasure of being treated by. I recently visited Banksia Medical Centre and was extremely disappointed with my experience. I was discriminated against for not being vaccinated and made to feel like a second-class patient. The staff at the center were rude and unprofessional, and it was clear that they did not value my individual choice or beliefs.

I strongly discourage anyone from using this medical center if they value respect and professionalism in their healthcare experience. The discriminatory behavior that I encountered was unacceptable and goes against the principles of inclusivity and patient autonomy.

It is concerning that such discrimination can occur in a medical setting, where individuals should feel safe and supported. I hope that in the future, Banksia Medical Centre will make a conscious effort to treat all patients with dignity and respect, regardless of their personal beliefs or medical choices.

I am very impressed by the Banksia Medical Centre. The reception staff is both professional and friendly and the doctors whom I saw, Dr Bernard Shiu and Dr Chris Chau, were gracious, attentive and plainly caring and their evident professionalism inspired confidence. Highly recommended.

Dr Jenny is an amazing doctor who really gives you the time of day and shows a lot of empathy. I am disappointed I will no longer be able to see her due to their vaccination policy even though I informed admin I hold a valid medical exemption. I understand wanting to protect the health of other patients but anyone in there could have covid or another transmissible disease and I have always organized telehealth if I have any cold/flu like symptoms. Also was asked for my mobile number twice to let me know but never heard back but perhaps they were really busy.
