Took my 6 year old son here today to see the dentist, the ladies that dealt with him. We’re amazing, persistent and overall perfect! They were super patient, the receptionist’s were also very lovely and engaging. Such a great atmosphere! I’ll be back for sure! Thanks guys

It won't let me give a 0 star rating,
Worse dental care I've ever recieved.
Had an appointment Monday for a deep clean spoke to the dental lady and told her I was experiencing some pain on left side down bottom dentist decided to pull the tooth so started the numbing injection 4 later and could still feel the tooth on the 4th injection I had this shooting sharp pain up to my head and down my throat I told them to stop and said not normal not continuing they decided to send me home no work was done other then numbing injections I was left in absolute agony from where the injection was put I walked out with a swollen face and not being able to feel anything nor be able to open and close my left eye took myself to traralgon hospital to be told they had hit a nerve 3 days later I'mstill numb still in agony and now having to pay out of pocket to see a specialist in melbourne due to their negligence work I've been put on panadine forte and endone adnothing is taking the pain away

I don't normally leave reviews but in this case I'll make the expection.

I have been to the Moe after-hours clinic only when absolutely required, have visited a couple of times over the year. The doctors are always good and helpful for a small clinic.

The receptionist is a real piece of work and I question why they are working in a customer facing role. They are always extremely rude and disrespectful. The receptionist could learn from doing training in professional communication and empathy. They should keep their unprofessional and snide remarks to themselves, it's uncalled for and not required and damages the clinics reputation.

If anyone has to contact the after hours clinic; be aware of the receptionist and don't waste energy on them, their future will be bleak. Just smile and think that their family probably hates them and they will most likely die alone and miserable in a poorly run nursing home.

Anyway enjoy your visit.

I had visited on the Saturday very unwell. By the following Wednesday I had deteriorated and was having bad chest pain and couldn’t breathe well so came back as I was unable to get to a standard GP and was told to go to the after hours clinic due to my symptoms. Was immediately turned away by the receptionist and told to go see a GP.

Absolutely disgusting. I’ve never experienced something so traumatising in my life after my visit to the clinic. I went in for an extraction, it was evident that a wisdom tooth was involved. A 45 minute visit turned into almost 2.5 hours laying on a chair with my mouth open, students coming in and out, dentist coming and going and waiting multiple times to continue the procedure. All to be told that they had not done the job properly and ended up having to travel all the way to Melbourne to see a private oral surgeon and pay $700 for a 10 minute procedure. Would never recommend this clinic after the horrible treatment I had.

People must have high expectations if they are complaining about LCHS. I have always had great service and professional help when attending. Most of my visits have been for dental. I have been to a few different sites and have found the dental work to be good quality. I would not hesitate to be treated by the undergrads either.
I have had these nearly qualified dentists several times now and have high praise for the standards they have attained, these lovely people are just as good as qualified private dentists.
All the undergrads I have had have been just months away from becoming fully qualified.
They have learned gentle modern dentistry that I feel inspires confidence to be treated.
Dental treatment has become a more pleasant experience than when I first experienced it when we had on-site dental 'learning' back in the early 70's. This ancient establishment left me with phobias of dental treatment. Same for the dental schools I attended in the 80's and 90's.
Thank you LCHS

After ringing up twice to try and make an appointment (being told a multiple week wait) and seeing if I needed to take a covid test. I waited around for 2 hours at the after hours centre, talked to the admin and nurse in this time. Was again told I did not need a test. Finally talk to the nurse and get told I need a negative result even though I have no symptoms and have not travelled anywhere. I understand if I need to take the test but tell me at the start instead of wasting my whole night. Not impressed with the lack of understanding of any of the staff.
