Medmate was extremely convenient for me, due to being in a rural area with a long wait to see a doctor for a UTI.
The process was very easy. The doctor returned my call within 1 hour, was very thorough with the consult, sent my script to my phone so I was able to get my antibiotics the next day from the chemist.
I had a follow up call from a nurse whom was very helpful and sincere, making sure I was feeling better.

Hi there!
Was extremely disappointed with my medmate teleconsult today. Firstly - my understanding was I would be speaking with a trained Doctor- however I was in told this was not the case?
The lady I spoke to was aggressive with her questioning and I felt didn't understand what I was asking? She interrupted me as I spoke and the communication was not clear.
I understand that she wanted me to book with my local GP- however it is Easter wend and nothing is opened plus my usual GP is booked approx 4 weeks in advance. This is the reason I use services such as yours.
Would definitely not recommend Medmate to people and won't be using this service again.

They make all the process much easier than a in person clinic.

Fast , efficient service from start to finish . Dr rung back in good time and it was an easy process through to an E-script sent as soon as consultation was completed. . Highly recommend.

To anyone thinking that this will be a quick and easy process. I promise you it is anything but. I paid 22.50$ for a online telehealth consultation in which I receive a text at 4:45pm stating that I will receive a call within the next 60-90 minutes.

At 7:00pm, I approached the online service representative. I was told to be on standby for another 30 minutes. At 7:45pm, I was ask to stay on standby even after 2 HOURS by the customer service representative. Repeatedly, they kept assuring me I was next on the line and the doctor will be finished with the patient soon.

In the end, I asked for a refund in which they indicated would take 10 TEN days to process.

TL:DR, Do not under any circumstances use this service. I have filed a complaint to the ACCC for their inability to provide a service that has been paid for and promised.

The doctor was kind and listened. There was a small issue with the script, with the post appointment customer service by Gene being outstanding. They resolved the issue quickly.

Feeling incredibly unwell and Medmate has been quick, convenient and helpful.

I would recommend.
