I absolutely adored Dr Alex Mu. He is a fantastic medical professional who listens intently and offers outstanding service as a GP. Unfortunately, every other doctor I have seen at this practice has been arrogant, the desk staff are lackadaisical and incompetent, and the clinical labs facility that sits adjacent to this practice rejected me from pathology testing because the worker was scared of dogs and couldn't deal with my service dog. Dr Yat Lau has been reported to the Victorian government for negligent behaviour during a GP visit, where he refused to give me antivirals despite me having confirmed influenza A, and instead gave me antibiotics. After more than two weeks of being sick he tried to prescribe me more antibiotics, immediately after my first course. It must also be mentioned that antivirals are only effective a short duration after infection, so Yat Lau (I hesitate to add the Dr title based on his woeful incompetence) refused to give me a time dependent medicine, despite knowing I had a viral infection and me explicitly asking for it, in favour of antibiotics (which don't work for viruses). If you have any medical literacy you would be appalled by this, based on the growing danger of antibiotic resistance.

After all of these mishaps happening within two weeks, and being made to wait 40+ minutes in the waiting room because the desk staff are seemingly technologically illiterate, only to be told I had to make a full appointment to get the results of my blood tests back. News flash; I wouldn't have needed full blood work and testing barrages if you gave me the medicine I required and requested more than 16 days ago now. I am so irate at your massively incompetent handling of this situation, I truly hope their is serious disciplinary action towards the horrible workers involved in this.

Finally don't be sorry, be careful, your apologies mean nothing when you continually act like you don't care about your patients (customers for you capitalist money pigs out there)

The GPS are fantastic here, incredibly understanding and respectful. Will run through diagnosis and explain things to help you understand what you might be experiencing and even with complicated health conditions, they will make sure to do a lot of tests to detect or rule out certain conditions. Front of house staff are fine

I have been attending this medical center for the past 10 years. Last week, I had an incident that left me extremely disappointed. I initially called the receptionist 24 hours before my scheduled appointment to reschedule due to work commitments. However, I was informed that I needed to provide 48 hours’ notice. Since this was my first time making a late change, the receptionist told me they would make an exception and rebook my appointment for the following week.

Wanting to confirm my new appointment, I called the centre a day before my new appointment and was shocked to be told that I had no appointment and for this reason I would be charged a missed appointment fee which I found to be outrageous. The lack of communication and professionalism was frustrating. On top of that, the receptionist was rude and made it seem like the mistake was mine.

After 10 years of coming to M-City Medical Centre, I am deeply disappointed by the change in service. The reception staff no longer provide the welcoming and empathetic environment that once made this center stand out. As a result, I will no longer be attending this clinic.
All the best.

After having my phone consultation with the doctor, I called the clinic to pay & Christina answered the call. While I had already repeated my card number 3 times, she said that it has been declined, when I know that it is not as i just used it last evening too & have enough money on my account. She then right away told me to calm down & then asked me to repeat, I can hear her huffing & puffing mean time. I have been with this clinic for many years & all the staff there are so polite & nice. Never had faced this kind of rudness & unprofessional behaviour. I asked her to give the phone to someone else & she put me on hold & came back pretending she was a different person, eventually I hung up & then Amanda called me & apologised for Christina's behaviour. I spoke exactly the way i did with Christina & had no issues with Amanda, she never once asked me to repeat or tell me the card was declined. Please train your staff properly, they need to learn to apologise for their mistakes & not tell a patient to calm down when the patient has not yelled or screamed at them. We all make mistakes but it's not right to be rude.

Only just started attending this health centre and have had such a better experience in comparison to the last one I frequented. The receptionist Irin is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I’ve had appointments with both Dr Nilufer Nahar and Dr Nahreen Mostofa, whereby they both explained everything thoroughly and clearly :))

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Nilufer N., and I felt really reassured by the experience. She’s one of those rare doctors who genuinely listens and explains things clearly without rushing through. I appreciated how patient she was, making sure I understood everything and answering all my questions. She has a calm, caring approach that made me feel in good hands. I’d happily recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor who’s both knowledgeable and easy to talk to.
