Waited 10 Hours in the ED and still wasn’t attended to tho the waiting time in the screen says 9 Hours. The night staff was unbelievably rude! No empathy, no care whatsoever for patients clearly in discomfort. One staff member in particular stood out (Night shift, curly short black hair, wearing glasses) for all the wrong reasons. I asked politely about the status of our wait, and her response? She snapped at me to “just look at the screen it says 9 hours” which, by the way, SHOWED a 9-HOUR wait time I had already EXCEEDED. When I pressed further, she dismissively said they didn’t know how much longer it would take.

I wasn’t the only one—other patients tried speaking to her respectfully and walked away visibly upset because of her TERRIBLE attitude and loud voice! Is it so hard to show a little compassion to people who are in pain, nausea, and sick?

The staff in this ED needs a serious lesson in empathy and professionalism. I’ve never been treated this poorly in my life—like GARBAGE—while sitting for hours, suffering, in a waiting area.

Absolutely NOT recommended. Avoid this place if you can.

WORST staff in Emergency department. We went to the hospital for my nephew’s forhead injury, which needed stitches as they TOLD US AND made us to wait for 4 hours in emergency just to get treatment start. He was two year old, haven’t had anything since afternoon and they were not even looking at him and when he got irritated they made us to wait in tea room ( that’s how bad there behaviour towards emergencies)

Terrible Experience at Casey Hospital Emergency Department

I had an absolutely awful experience at Casey Hospital’s Emergency Department. I brought my neighbor’s 14-year-old daughter in due to severe back pain, expecting urgent care. Instead, we endured hours of waiting with no medical attention. The pain medication was finally administered, but only after an unreasonably long delay—and shockingly, a doctor never even saw her.

The reception staff were completely unhelpful, more interested in chatting among themselves about personal matters than assisting distressed patients. There was no sense of urgency, no empathy, and no proper communication.

In the end, despite her unbearable pain, we were forced to discharge her without ever seeing a doctor. This is beyond unacceptable for a hospital emergency department. If this is how they treat patients in need, I dread to think what happens in more critical cases. Absolutely disgraceful service.

Absolutely disappointed, waited in the emergency department for 8 hours last night. I arrived at 11am was admitted and triaged straight away. Nurse came around and checked on me a couple times after 2 hours, kept telling them my chest pain kept getting worse but they didn’t do anything. At 1.30am they took blood tests and did an ECG, at 3 am I was told everything was fine. When I asked 3.30am for a blanket because it was freezing in the waiting room I was told I was not allowed one until I was in a bed and that shouldn’t be too much longer. At 6am it got colder so I asked again and mentioned I had been there for 7 hours and still had not been taken to a bed and would like a blanket. They told me the same thing and when I mentioned that other people were given one she said thats because they were cold. Once I finally actually got to see a Doctor it was 7am and I was taken into a room looked at for 2 minutes then sent home being told since my bloods were fine I could leave, the blood results they got back 4 hours prior. I was told to take a medication which they had already given me which had done nothing. Casey hospital is an absolute joke

Saturday morning at 5:45 I had an issue leading me to go to the ER.
As soon as I got there, They signed me in, and the triage nurse checked me out and put me in a room straight away.
The doctors and nurses all morning were absolutely beautiful, my bedside assistance was so amazing considering I had lots of anxiety.
I had the doctors constantly checking on my issue and getting me on some medication to give me some relief, and I was just extremely impressed. They saw the issue, gave me treatment and came up with a solution all in one morning.

I was in Casey Hospital had to stay there for a week. The whole team was really great. The treatment was really good. All the doctors were very nice. There was a nurse named Krystal Pratt I wish to say in particular with great emphasis that she really was very good to all patients. Such people are hard to get. But Krystal shines. I really admired her services to all the patients. Keep the good work going Krystal. Good luck. God bless you.

Staff were really great, nurse in particular Kara had a really positive attitude which is something beautiful when you are ill. Dr Mathew Rogers also was knowledgeable and kind during my stay.

I compelled to write my review here after seeing many negative ones.
Y’day I had to rushed to the ED after having severe abdominal pain.I was also skeptical at first as I have heard lot of negatives about this hospital ED.
But it was all the opposite. The care and the attention I received was amazing. They immediately took me in and started the treatments and tests right away. All the nurses and doctors were soo friendly and tried to make me feel comfortable as much as possible.
They really deserved some credits in my opinion.
Thank you soo much for ED team for the amazing care I received.
