Do not go here if you don't have medicare.

I am frustrated with the experience with Dorevitch. First despite having a valid insurance, i needed to pay upfront (first time in Australia a pathology didn't bulk bill). And didn't even get the itemised receipt automatically?

the service from the staff there was very professional though. It's just the billing policy for non medicare holders which is horrible.

Been here 3 times and all were quick and stress-free. I’m really thankful that they open till late on weekdays and open on weekends. The lady who attended to me is always courteous and understanding. Plus she is VERY skillful because she found my veins quickly (most people struggle and I’d need to be poked at least twice) and sample collection was seamless, pain-free. Will be making this branch my regular from now on! Big thank you to all the staff here who do their best to make it a good experience.

I have just wasted two mornings in a row waiting 1.5 hours each time to have blood tests. I’ve had to leave with quite a queue in front of me still. Absolutely hopeless!! After talking to the other people there they were all fed up waiting as well. After waiting yesterday (Saturday morning) I was told that there would be two collectors there today but there was only one again. Dorevitch have also slowed their process down spending about 20 minutes with each patient. I noticed this 1 week ago when I had to have other blood tests. They clearly don’t have any backup people and now my blood test will delay my specialist appointment; I’m going to have to reschedule & my delayed appt will impact my current health. I’m submitting a formal complaint to head of Dorevitch. Slow, disorganised, hopeless! I also (several blood tests ago) had the rudest male collector & have to request other staff when Ive attended since. I have a great GP there at Narregate otherwise I wouldn’t go there.

I had a pregnancy related blood test done by David today, and I could not have asked for a more pleasant, professional experience! There was no wait time today which was super convenient, my blood test was almost painless, and I definitely felt like David went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and reassure me regarding my concerns. Absolutely fantastic experience today!
