Absolutely outstanding!
My 17 y.o daughter needed some vaccines, but has always disliked needles!
I called Casey City Health as they came highly recommended; and I soon saw why!
We saw Dr Richard Shawyer, who honestly has a super power! He helped my daughter relax as she was having her immunisation, and I have never seen her cope so well!
Richard was also extremely helpful with his travel advice and gave us some printed material he’d typed up himself!
I can not recommend him, and this doctors’ clinic, highly enough!
Oh and ALL the receptionists are also amazing! Thanks Ladies <3

My family & I have been attending Casey City Health, aswell as when previously known as Casey Family Practice for around 5 years or more now as we were looking for a clinic with shorter wait time without compromising care.
It isn't always easy finding care you trust, but with every visit or consult Dr Lam has always been knowledgeable, welcoming and great with our kids.
And when he wasn't available we have had the pleasure to have been seen by Dr Shawyer who was very patient with my 6 yr old with a broken arm.
The receptionists are amazing and welcoming!
Now love the new location as more parking, a much bigger waiting room with some entertainment for the kids but having chemist warehouse in walking distance means I don't need to make an extra stop for any scripts 🙂

The waiting time was swift, the doctors were very polite, caring and professional. When I first entered the building, I was greeted by the friendly receptionist and nurses. During my actual appointment with Dr Lam. I was stunned by his experience and his pristine knowledge. Would highly recommend, my whole family comes here!

I have to drive quite awhile to get to this clinic but Dr. Shawyer is the only doctor I’ve truly trusted. His bedside manner is second to none and he truly cares about his patients. I’ve come to this clinic for many years now and he’s always been so on point with everything I’ve seen him for. He’s changed my life for the better and has helped and also been very understanding of my mental health issues since my work injury. He’s very open minded and has an incredibly wide range of knowledge when it comes to health conditions. He’s played a big role in my coping strategies and I’m able to take my mind off the pain a lot more when originally it was all I could focus on. There are many days where I’m not able to travel due to my condition and I’m always left in amazement at what Dr. Shawyer is able to pick up with some photos and a description. I’m incredibly thankful that a friend recommended me to Dr. Shawyer as he’s easily the best GP I’ve ever seen.

Edit: Also thought I would add that Gaye is an incredible receptionist. Always really helpful if I need to ask a quick question over the phone etc and she always makes me smile as I walk into the clinic. 😁

Dr Shawyer is fabulous. He is very caring and I appreciate his approach. He has been my doctor since 2017 and has assisted
me through many things including pregnancies as well as my children’s’ health. Furthermore the reception staff are friendly and professional.

My husband and I went to Casey Family practice for a last minute travel consult.
Marie in reception was amazing from the moment we rang. Upon arrival she was friendly, helpful and gave us a very positive first impression of the practice.
Dr Richard Shawyer was fantastic. A huge wealth of knowledge and so many helpful tips for our travels. My husband does not like visiting the doctor and he immediately said he would happily see Dr Richard again (a 30 min drive!).

Visited the new clinic for the first time today, a fantastic greeting at reception. Then Dr Danh Lam as usual straight to the point and had me sorted. Feeling so much better already on the newly prescribed medication.
After being a patient at the old 405 Princes Hwy since 1990 under Dr Steve Chao, then the practice under Dr Lam, to have finally made the move to the new facility under the new name, with onsite car parking, heaps of seating in the waiting room, it is without hesitation that l follow the medical team here.
Can't recommend all of the GPs, nurses and admin reception staff that are involved here at Casey City Health highly enough.
That's now 34 years.....as a patient of Drs Lam, Shawyer and Chao.

I came to see Dr. Richard Shawyer and was so amazed by his knowledge, patience and friendly manner. He kindly explained what he's doing to make sure I understand. He did such a great job that I didn't even feel any pain in the process that I expected some pain. I knew I was in safe hands.

It's my best decision to change my GP to Casey Family Practice and Dr. Shawyer in particular. My previous GP in the same area was so bad that the doctor even didn't even read a referral letter from my surgeon and asked me what would I Iike to do with the wound that day, and she and the nurse gave me contradictory advice about my wound.

I highly recommend Casey Family Practice to everyone and if you can book an appointment with Dr. Shawyer, you'll have the best experience as I did.
