Just want to say a big thank you to the folks here 😀. Previously I was a commercial cook and then a pest control technician, I needed a change. In my late thirties I decided to pursue what I really love and am in the process of doing that. With Max employments support it is actually happening.

Because I'm wanting to get into the arts, I initially thought Max would say something like "you need to get a real job". But instead they directed me to star now.com and Ive since found substantial paid work with two different companies and made a couple of important inroads! I'm happy to say that I can now make a decent income when I combine these with my *ugh* uber eats work. Well mostly happy 😏. Anyway I'm sure I'll get there someday 😁 Gotta get through this uni degree 😅

If I could give no stars I would.
Why have a phone number if nobody ever answers it. What a joke.
Have been trying to get in contact with somebody! Anybody! Since last Wednesday (10/02) and still today (15/02) have no luck. Have sent multiple emails to “Ally” and still receive nothing back. How is one meant to do as asked when this office is completely unorganised and just plain lazy.

Also, Once you ring and ask for a call back you can’t ring them again as they cut the line off and say your still in que. How is one in cue for 5 DAYS?!?

Based on my first visit to this employment agency, I must say that I was not sure what to expect. Previously haven read other reviews I was quite surprised with the service that I received. Everything was explained to me clearly, any questions that I had were answered and I felt comfortable during the interview.

Absolutely disgusted!!! Most unorganised office I have ever seen!! Staff dressed inappropriate, spoken to like dirt, waiting an hour to be seen for my appointment. These people are supposed to be helping people find employment, maybe they should be doing courses and learning how to treat people and be organised before giving advice.

My wife was directed here by Centrelink due to their standard policies. We informed them of her medical incapacitation to participate and the fact that employment was already sort . They haven't listened to word spoken or acknowledged the excessive amount of documents provided justifying the situation .
After cancelling her profile and calling more than 5 times to try reschedule an appointment we didn't need. We arranged to come into the office and finalise the paperwork again. On arrival the person we needed was on lunch and after sitting here with my sick wife , there now 'isn't ' an appointment unless we want to join a group session in job preparation .

She's already employed . And medically except !

Max Employment Deception bay seem to have a problem with how there staff answers phones and talk to clients. Very rude, and the tones of voice used leave no doubt about what they think of you. Ontop of this they have gotten me a single job trial in 7 years, other then that they bounce me back and forth between reps knowing i have social anxiety and agoraphobia. The only thing they care about is government funding.

Poor response, understanding or empathy by the deception bay office , can't communicate directly with consultant, which is supposed to be part of the Centrelink protocols ,not a 1800 number that is useless if u need help at ur workplace, that u got the job but this company pockets the gov payment with out actually providing a service ...
