My family and myself have been seeing Dr Valansi at Mount Hutton Medical practice for 6 years now, the doctors are always very thorough, caring, and kind. We find the office staff amazing as whenever they can help us with appointments, they go above and beyond. I highly recommend this Medical Practice, especially to families. Definitely the best Doctors around.

Great doctors, very rude dismissive reception on this occasion (Abby) I had a appt that didn’t go through and was grunted with oh well sorry bye. Other reception ladies are normally beautiful. Being crippled with endometriosis pain and treated like this is not on and if you treat people this way you are in the wrong profession. Coming from a medical field you need to have compassion. If it wasn’t urgent that I needed this appt I wouldn’t be back later in the day. But will not return in the future.

To the administration at mount hutton medical practice. I was in the waiting room today, which was completely full. And to see how well a situation was handled with a difficult patient- I just don’t know how you did it. As a new patient myself, I felt very comfortable having that under control as I the rest of the waiting room did too. Looking forward to coming back

Great practice. Dr Leo was very thorough. Receptionists friendly and caring. Very busy but everyone pleasant and professional. Would definitely recommend.

Rudest experience from receptionist.
Spoke down to me for being courteous to say i would be 10 minutes late due to a toddler issue. Was told that was okay because my appointment was at 11:15.
Rang before 11:15 to confirm I was still on my way to be told me appointment was at 11 and I was a liar
Then told it was canceled and I’d have a $50 fee.
Even though nearly every time I am there I wait over 45 minutes to see anybody.
Disappointed to say the least, no grace for families especially ones with young kids (4 under 5 here.)
Won’t be returning shame, been a loyal patient for 14 years and all my kids their whole lives.

Staff are rude and will talk about patients after they leave. Some of the doctors have somewhat of an idea but I honestly would be better googling it myself and charging people $90. Never going back.

I recently moved back to Newcastle from Melbourne and needed to find a new GP. I opted to try Lake Fair Medical Centre as it's local however I will never go back there again. I entered the surgery on Wednesday the 13th of January 2021 and unbeknown to me the surgery had a mandatory face mask policy which the kind receptionist informed me of. I told her that I have a medical exemption and offered to wait outside until I see the doctor as I respect the wellbeing of other patients. I was told that the doctor - Dr Wabbas, will not see me in the surgery and instead call me while I stand outside. During the phone consultation I was spoken down to and rather abruptly by Dr Wabbas as it was clear that he had an issue with the fact I wasn't wearing a mask. When he came outside to give me my script he called my name and as I turned around to start walking towards him he bent down, placed the script on the footpath, then rudely turned his back and walked inside without saying another word. Such a childish, unprofessional, unhygienic and discriminatory display from a so called medical practitioner. I hope that placing a script on the dirty footpath is not the standard procedure that Lake Fair Medical Centre has in place for patients who hold a face mask medical exemption because I will be making a formal compliant to the HCCC. I presume it was rather a one off personal indiscretion on DR Wabbas' behalf in which I expect a formal apology as I do not stand for such derogatory treatment.
