I feel for the clients, they don’t get support they actually need. Nothing new with this company other than them changing their name. They were okay with clients driving around in a car that had an engine light on it and just completely dismiss the issue with having an engine light on and didn’t advise any of the family’s. Which is not okay. If I had a family member in care and paying money for them to be taken care of I sure don’t want them in a car with an engine light on.

I also had a family emergency where I had to step away from work for acouple of days. Due to it being a family emergency I couldn’t get a medical certificate as it’s not required for family emergency. I had advise my team leader of the situation and when I had gotten a call from management they advise me I would need a medical certificate I advise them I didn’t and explained why. She then was unhappy with my answer and requested I bring the death certificate of my brother to “show it was an actual family emergency” only 2 days after he had passed. I advise her I could t that not even my parents had that and she ended up ending the call. I obviously left not long after. I will continue to spread awareness to make sure nobody has to experience this from this company. This also lead to a deep depression state. The company is only wanting one thing and that’s people’s money

Beware of this company, staff are employed without having to provide any references or even a basic resume .
It’s obvious they are looking to employ people with little education, English as a second language, etc basically anyone that won’t question the non existent safety protocols they have in place for both staff and clients, should a situation arise.
Furthermore these vulnerable people that should be getting a high level of care are being placed with employees that would prefer to sit on their phones ignoring their client, rather than making an effort to care for or enrich these people’s lives.
I would never entrust someone with a mental illness to this company’s care, nor would I recommend working for them.

Went through an assult by a client and was the one laid off. followed all proceedures. All they care about is the money they get from clients.

Management has extremely high turnover and thus have no idea what they are doing or how to deal with incidents.

All I can say after reading many of the reviews of the FINA organisation which used to be SCOPE & prior to that HANDYHOME sadly it seems they have not changed at all...There has been a culture for a long time of staff bullying, nepotism, serious disregard for OH&S practices, staff/client ratios that were totally inadequate, unfit persons promoted to management level & the list goes on...
