Hi I would just like to say blue care provides my husband with first class care the carers are very professional he has physio who’s also is very professional the lovely people on the other end of the phone are so helpful I feel I’ve known them for years best thing we did for my husband is go with blue care, thank you blue care 👌

90% of staff are fantastic.
However the company is no longer accepting NDIS clients and they have been told to find care elsewhere by the end of November. Blue Care do NOT care.

This morning I was told by a scheduler that there wasn't anyone available to assist the rostered Blue Carer to shower my daughter. She asked if my daughter could assist herself! My question is, don't the schedulers have access to the condition and needs of the clients they are scheduling for My daughter has very high support needs, grossly impaired both cognitively and physically. She has to be hoisted. I am on crutches and cannot bear weight alone. This is my entire household and would be in my daughter's records. The answer to the scheduler, no my daughter can't assist with her shower or hoist herself not am I capable of doing so. A glance at her file would have given you this information.

I rang blue care today to request a reschedule for my visit tomorrow. The front desk took my information, spoke with the schedulers momentarily and then informed me that someone would call and let me know the outcome.

Two hours or so later, I was informed that it was impossible to reschedule me for Thursday. I had asked for them to change from the morning to the afternoon as I would be home from mid day.

Friday was also out of the question.

On pressing them I was told to call back Monday to see if something could be arranged for Tuesday. i.e. I had to pursue the service.

My point is that scheduling should be flexible enough to cope with a simple request. The inertia of the department stinks.

I am now going to change services.

My elderly mum uses Blue Care for a number of services and recently had an Occupational Therapist named Flynn to the house to help mum with some mobility issues. Flynn has gone above and beyond with suggestions and aids to help with several concerns and nothing is too much trouble during his visits.

Only completed half of the work and what was done was done poorly
