Dr. Sivasankaran (everyone calls him Dr. Siva) has been our family cardiologist for a number of years now. He continues to be our doctor of choice because of his genuine care and concern. His office staff and technician aids always makes us feel appreciated with friendly greetings and calm but professional attitudes. You won't be disappointed by making him your own cardiologist.

Dr K was very very accommodating, kind and thoroughly professional. He rewiewed my husband at very short notice (an hour & a half) after a GP appointment & within 6 hours had performed an angiogram and subsequent life saving coronary artery stent. Omg - such a quick response to an unexpected life threatening situation and such a gentleman in his manner to, and generous with, his explanations & time post op. with the both of us. His staff Angela, Beatrice & Kasey were empathic and thorough. I would highly recommend Dr K and his team.

I would give 10 stars if allowable. Dr Kypraios and his staff are exceptional and diligent - going far above and beyond for me. Dr Kypraios and the team expertly navigated my condition, even going as far as to research my condition and contacting numerous surgeons and practitioners, some from decades ago to form a complete picture. I've never experienced such a duty of care and am very grateful. Amazingly, this was done in a timely manner.

For anyone awaiting more information; quick results and transparent commuication are blessings the team delivered both. My experience at Sunshine Coast Cardiology falls nothing short of amazing. I've read some of the scathing reviews here and find them to be at complete odds with my experience. In fact, I would urge those closest to me to attend Sunshine Coast Cardiology, should they ever have the need.

Seen Dr Kyprayos a week ago for echo stress test. I have never felt so worthless as in this 30 minutes. The interaction with Dr K was robotic and minimal. He showed absolutely no interest in why I was there, asked me not 1 question about the concerns that I had.(I had taken the time to put together a file with supporting documents and other test results). His demeanour made it clear that there was no room for talking and he dashed off immediately after the test, on his way out of the door mentioning that my heart is normal. It is disgraceful that he gets away with treating his clients with disdain and still manages to collect near $700 for a test. I assume that he is good at his job, however as a client I received absolutely no information from him, I gained no understanding of what could possibly be happening and why I am experiencing chest pains etc. .I was and still am disheartened that we as the public on occasion have to cross paths with and have to rely on so-called professionals like him. When seeing my GP afterwards, she immediately questioned me about my experience, as she was unimpressed with the report. No exact measurements and details were included in the report and once again the absolute minimal amount of feedback: 'normal'. Compared to other reports that she has seen from other cardiologists, it was falling short.

Also, potential female clients, please know that your breats will be completely exposed for much of the initial echo which is done by the male sonographer. Yes you are told beforehand that you will have a gown as well, and maybe just wear a bra in stead of a crop-top. However, you will be asked to get rid of it immediately. To be honest I dont know why because the 'electrodes' could easily be placed discretely under a bra. It was creepy. As for the reception staff, they were both wonderful, very helpful and kind and attentive.

I would highly recommend looking at and considering other cardiologists if you need one.

Outstanding practice. Dr Kypraios is a fabulous physician and incredibly compassionate. My wife was sent somewhere else but we chose Sunshine Coast Cardiology.

i Agree with what Ryan Blunden, I will never let him treat me. I also would not recommend him or his Male nurse to anyone. Total disgrace. Extremely rude and no passion towards a patient. Not worth one star, but had to put it in, to get this across to everyone.
