This is a great local chemist with a decent variety of options that you usually don’t see in a bricks and mortar store these days.

Have to give a mention to the wonderful staff, as they really seem to have come a long way over the last few years. Staff are never too busy to stop and offer some advice or answer questions.

No privacy whatsoever when needing to ask for items that you'd rather keep confidential. You shouldn't be asked what items are for in front of a store full of customers.

Not to mention recent price rises, making items completely unaffordable. Always came here because things like fish oil tablets were cheaper than other chemists. Now priced at $42.99 for a container. It's just not affordable.

This has been my go to chemist for my family since we moved back to Townsville over 2 years ago. Im probably in her once or twice a fortnight filling scripts/getting bits and pieces for the whole family.
My last experience here was disgusting. I was accused of stealing (childrens throat losenges and childrens nasal spray) the last time i was in.
When the lady scanned my script, my name apparently came up on her system as scanning those items last time i was in but never paying for them. I told her multiple times i wouldnt of walked out without paying and she insisted that i must of. I couldnt purchase my new medication until this 'bill' was sorted.
I asked for the date and exact amount that i apparently skipped out on paying. Im lucky i paid by card because i was able to log into my banking app and prove that i had in fact paid for my childrens losenges and nasal sprays on that date to that exact amount that was rung up on the till.
I have never been so embarrassed and in front of so many other shoppers listening to me getting accused of not paying for medicines.
The pharmacist that was on was watching this whole thing unfold and once i proved that i had paid he came out and apologised and said it must of been an error on the till.
Still disgusting behaviour by all staff that i dealt with.
Will be taking this higher.

Due to a situation (transport problems) we were unable to access medication, United Chemist, Northshore went out of their way to help us, in all, wonderful service.

Love the service from all the staff as they all know me very well as I am an extremely regular customer. Can not fault anything about this fantastic Chemist. Thank you Jacinta for being such a wonderful and understanding Chemist and thank you Ben for always helping me out.

When I walked in the store, there were no other customers but heard one of the staff members complaining about not getting a full lunch break and that she was planning on spending every future break outside in the heat because she constantly has to serve (while walking over to serve me) I felt so uncomfortable, like I shouldn't be interrupting her. Then rudley asked what I wanted, honestly felt like asking her to smile ! I work in retail, I get that it gets hard. But no one should feel uncomfortable about choosing where to get their scripts filled. Will be going elsewhere in future.
