Dr Henry Maddock is not only a very good doctor, he is also a wonderful human being - warm-hearted, caring, approachable, kind and jovial. All the Reception staff - Marnie, Sophia and Grace - greet you with a warm smile as you enter Eacham Medical Centre in Malanda and are well suited in Reception as first point of contact. Also, Nurse Alysia is absolutely wonderful and deserves a mention here. So grateful that Eacham Medical Centre was taking on new patients at the time when others were not. The long drive to Eacham Medical Centre from Mareeba is worth it for the excellent service we receive on each and every visit, as well as the enjoyable scenic views along the way.

After moving around alot over the last 20 years and having a wide variety of mental and physical health conditions, I have met alot of doctors, both good and bad. Eacham medical centre is by far the best practice I have ever encountered. The receptionists are friendly, professional, efficient and welcoming. The two doctors I have dealt with go above and beyond, are understanding, friendly yet professional and clearly highly knowledgeable and experienced. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough

Have been going here a while now, the receptionists are all very friendly & welcoming, the doctor I’ve seen is very friendly down to earth & easy to talk to about your health. I’ve had flu shots done here even my double vaccination for the COVID-19. I’d highly recommend them that’s if you can get in as there quite full with patients now.
