I have been suffering from chronic back and waist pain for a long time, and in the past 4 weeks, the pain has become so severe that I can’t bend, sit for long, or move properly. Three weeks ago, I saw Dr. Max Wong and followed his advice to do a blood test, but I never received the results. This week, I booked another appointment and was told the results had already arrived, but no one informed me.

Despite my persistent pain, the doctor refused my request for a referral to physio sessions, claiming my condition is not chronic pain, and that I’m not eligible for five physio sessions. He even said that whoever told me about this was bullshit and if it worked like that, the country would go bankrupt.

Then when I asked for his treatment options to alleviate the pain, he simply advised me to exercise more. Following his advice, my pain has worsened significantly.

This was a terrible experience, failure to communicate test results, refusal to provide physio referrals, and offering poor advice that aggravated my pain. I would never go back again.

My wife went in today in just short of an emergency as she had run out of her pain medication (suffers from multiple spine issues/had multiple surgeries) as she was unable to see her usual doctor. Rather than make inquiries in to her usual prescriptions/medications or usual doctor or even surgical history (which was provided and presented) she was made out to be a liar or drugseeker and sent away in horrible pain to suffer the weekend. Absolute blatant disregard for humanity in a field that is supposed to help. Appalling and you should be ashamed of yourself!
