If I could give this service zero stars, I would. Horrible experience. GP never called as per the booking which was made 8 hours in advance via HotDoc. Follow-up texts from random numbers approx. 2 hours later asking if we still wanted the appointment. After confirming the appointment was needed, the GP still never called/advised he/she was not going to. I wish I read these reviews before using this flawed 'service'.

THIS IS A SCAM! If I could give 0 I would, I booked via Hotdoc needing an appointment for a medical certificate, I booked the first available appointment at 6:15am however I never received a call. After a few hours I called the clinic whom told me they would find out the problem and return my call. After not receiving a call back I then proceeded to call again, to be told I have not called, nor booked an appointment or am I on their system. I have a confirmation of the appointment and payment confirmation and instead of listening sent me a link to book and pay for another appointment. Absolutely disgusting, I have now contacted Hotdoc to try and sort my self a refund as this really is beyond a joke.

Booked for 5pm, was called at 1:30pm instead. Asked for a sick certificate and at first he refused, managed to talk him into it stating I’ve never had an issue before, why one now?

I was sent the incorrect one, he put the wrong dates on it. It has been 5 times of him editing it and emailing it and it is still wrong. I called the actual clinic and they said they would fix it…still sent one with the wrong dates (July 2024….we’re still in JUNE!). Not happy with my experience from this clinic and will be going to my bank to state that I have not received the goods that I paid for as this is unacceptable. Couldn’t even understand a word the doctor was saying and he was spouting off nonsense that had nothing to do with my appointment. When I mentioned how incredibly hard he was making this he said “sorry, maybe I am sick now hahah”. How can a doctor study for years and be so utterly incompetent at their job?

I booked an appointment for 5.30pm and got an email to be called at 5.45pm. I waited for 40 mins and finally called the place to let them know about my booking. The guy who picked up my call told me that they will let the doctor know and 10 mins after i got a call from the doctor; I had no issues with the doctor besides calling so late. I was seriously about to call again for a refund. Honestly, not worth your money to be honest. If only i dont have covid i would rather just do a walk in appointment or just book with another telehealth. I should've checked the google reviews before making a booking.

I’ve uses this service twice and I have nothing but positive experiences to report. I cannot speak for the other reviews, but I assure you it is NOT a scam. Dr Arun Nayak in particular was extremely helpful! Would recommend to anyone needing Telehealth.

What a scam, $55 with no rebate even though it says there’s a rebate on hot doc.
3 hours late talking to a doctor who didn’t even prescribe anything just wrote a doctors note. Didn’t ask any questions just got me off the phone as soon as.
Should have read the reviews what a bunch of grubs

This doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. If I could give less than 0 stars, I genuinely would. Absolutely terrible. ALWAYS look at the google reviews before you book an appointment. They called me late, and when they finally called it lasted for barely 1 minute. Didn’t even ask any questions, just basically said one thing and hung up on me. SCAM! SCAM I’m telling you.

SCAM SCAM SCAM - BEWARE!
I must say this is the most disappointing experience for a doctor I have every received. My wife believes I was scammed and I'm feeling the website is a scam too.

First appointment was cancelled with no reason given.

Second appointment was very late and was it even a doctor?

Requested a phone call to get antibiotics due to yellow/green phlegm.

Received a video call, which I had no idea on how to receive, and when I did accept it, it was an old bloke laying on a lounge talking about how he likes my t-shirt (what the?)

I changed the conversation and said I needed antibiotics for the yellow/green phlegm (even though this was in the appointment request anyway), and he said that he will send the script to my email.

Very short call, never asked any questions, billed $75 while making the booking without any service provided.

As I never received a script to my email, not even to spam, I had to call another telehealth (Northern Afterhours) who were on time, asked questions, and emailed a script with QR code immediately.

Can't get through on the phone. I've sent follow-up emails and they are totally ignoring me.
