I took in a friend under their "care" 7 months ago. I had come across him in the street and he informed me he was homeless. When getting him home I found he had soiled himself (clearly a few days prior) and his hygiene standard at the time was not conducive of health.

The following 7 months of trying to get him housing has been atrocious. I have reported them to the NDIS commission for neglect, to which nothing happened. The communication has been like pulling hens teeth. He is still in my home with no clear idea of when he will be gone other than when I am evicted in the coming weeks (thanks to his anger outbursts about being told he was getting housing and it not being followed through with).

My friend is now once again facing homelessness, to which his support staff don't seem to care about. Nor do they care about the damage which they have done to my business and my own personal living circumstances by taking advantage of my good nature.

I advise any potential applicants to this organisation to avoid them completely. The best way to solve the problem is to let someone more competent do the job.

I had no help. I was treated as If I had irregular control over my emotions and the worse my situation became over time, the worse the indoctrination cluster of staff, walked around one fallacy.
My situation even as it became worse and worse was not their problem, the Question was within their power. Directly asking them with confidence that they were helping me and asking them many times, was just eroding my hope. I realised going around and around was hopeless and demeaning, they had no empathy. They believe that they should not be judge, well it gives away your power and they hold all the power. After many series of contact and being ignored, I stopped being a coward. It’s not okay to complain. Well, I did complain. They can reframe every thing and you lose.

Save yourself the hassle and find a different provider. You’ll only end up having to do everything otherwise nothing gets done.
