Prior to booking removal of Implanon I called the medical centre and asked cost of just removal procedure. The receptionist by the name “Deborah” said it cost only aud 150 including consultation. I said I don’t need any consultation. Afterwards I booked the appointment and went to the medical centre for the procedure. After the procedure Dr Kovvuri charged AUD 300. I asked the doc “why I was charged this amount”. He responded we also did a consultation. I precisely told him prior to procedure that I don’t want a consultation and still after procedure got charged AUD 300. This is just not correct. The receptionist that was at the desk today also lacked knowledge too.
