Thank you for the amazing, empathic care and kindness offered here today. I had to visit today with difficulty breathing, straining to breathe. I suffer from severe sinusitis, and I had to go to Kallangur satellite hospital the night before as these guys were at capacity.
Will never go there again as I was not treated for the sinus infection of which I did indeed have.
So, my breathing issue began again the next day, and I went straight to Morayfield Accident and Injury Clinic.
All the staff were absolutely amazing. My regular GP is in this facility, and I have been going here for years.
I was offered a bed to rest on to wait comfortably for the doctor who treated me correctly for sinus.
I'm so glad this facility has re opened and hope it stays opened.
It's much nicer and more convenient than going to a big hospital.

You can call ... but you wont get an answer. You can book ... but you wont be seen at that time. Bulk billing....what bulk billing? Most of the GPs only offer 1 bulk billing day and the rest is charged at premium rates. A government funded building for....what exactly?

I took my son here today. The outstanding care that my son received was amazing. I will definitely be recommending them as they were very professional and the care they have was outstanding. I’m glad I ended up here and not somewhere else.

I went to the Minor Accident & Illness Centre with severe right sided pain, after a fall on to concrete, landing on my right side. The wait was not long and I saw Dr Baker. He was lovely and down to earth. After telling me he thought I had some broken ribs, he expressed concern that I was very breathless. He sent me for a chest x-ray and when it was done, called me back in and showed me a comparison of a normal chest x-ray and mine. Long story short, my heart was enlarged and after my GP sent me for an echo cardiogram, it was discovered that my heart was not pumping effectively and I was likely in the early stages of heart failure. Now I am waiting to see a cardiologist. I am very grateful to Dr Baker for seeing past what brought me to the centre in the first place, and investigating something else that concerned him.

Adult daughter attended today due to illness getting worse and having thick green snot and phlegm. The supposed
female dr said just take sudafed and if you get worse go see a Dr. (daughter is getting worse which is why she went and couldn't get a gp appointment). This supposed Dr just crapped on about how she is a ED Dr for a Canberra hospital but here due to short staff. What kind of Dr says if get worse go see a Dr . Absolutely disgusted and gobsmacked. There is NO proper health care anymore!!!

I was told to go there by 13Health as I was assessed and needing to see someone within 1-4 hours due to symptoms. The nurses when I arrived didn’t want to even know I was there, were making patient feel rushed and that their needs were not important. They forgot to do my observations and after half an hour waiting to even have the ECG machine hooked up to me, all the patients waiting before me were complaining they should have just called an Ambulance because it would have been quicker to go elsewhere 🙄 The staff were prioritising making patients feel know the clinic is only for emergencies. Well gals, 13 Health assessed me and told me to go there, I told you that and you treated me like garbage to the point I walked out not knowing if I will have a heart attack or not. I’ll guess I’ll find out!

My mother went to MAIC post op to getting grommets. She was triaged in less than 12 minutes and was shortly after seen by Dr Brian Baker. He checked and let her know that she needed to be seen by a specialist because they moved out of place. He prescribed ear drops which helped a lot. She saw her specialist and is now doing great.

Got stitched up super fast from an injury, all staff were super kind and professional. To the (I think student) nurse who held my hand the whole time you have no idea how helpful that was. Sorry if your hand hurts now from me squeezing it 😂
