I purchased my Unitron Moxi Move R hearing aids from Hear4Good, back in November 2020, after visiting a couple of the larger companies.
Not satisfied with what was on offer...and being pushed by the bigger companies, I Internet searched out this great little independent, privately owned company.
Mark and Lisa, the Audiologists, and Lorraine, Admin/Reception, were very friendly, personable, yet professional. They also didn't push one product, and carried, or sold a few hearing aid companies aids.
After testing me, they made a recommendation....based on my personal situation and lifestyle needs.
The aids I purchased were a couple of thousand cheaper than a similar product offered by the opposition.
Mark even came out to my house to Bluetooth my hearing devices to my smart TV ...No charge.
Their after sales service has been excellent.
I have had the need to call in from time to time, for different reasons concerning my hearing aids...sometimes for quick tutorials on aspects of the devices that I didn't initially comprehend. All visits, No Charge.
And Lorraine, the Director of First Impressions (that's my assessment of what she brings to this company), is always friendly...always smiling.
Well she's more than Administration and Reception. She is very competent and capable, and helps with minor servicing and maintenance issues.
I would highly recommend visiting this little family, privately owned business, before making any decision on purchasing hearing aids.

Having been to other audiologists in the past and wasn't really impressed so i changed to Hear4good and immediately as i walked into the reception area i felt at ease with Lorraine phenomenal receptionist very caring and such PR .I then was greeted by Audiologist Lisa Hurley . I needn't have worried at all, she was very patient, and kind and most important very professional the time she spent with me. She certainly knows her job. I visited Lisa at hear4good, Golden Beach, in mid 2021 via referral from a friend. Both the friend and her husband were extremely happy with the service, the quality and low cost of the products they had received from Lisa. Her husband had already spent many thousands of dollars at a previous audiologist whose hearing aids did not work well for him - so he never wore them. Lisa prescribed a far superior product for about one third the cost. Now his hearing aids go in each morning when his glasses go on and for the first time ever, he can hear when his wife talks about him on the phone.

I researched other providers but due to the recommendation decided to drive 30 minutes to see Lisa. Lisa excelled way above my expectations. She’s bright, connective, compassionate and highly skilled and experienced at what she does. My husband and I were impressed by her attention to detail, her thorough appraisal of my hearing and her no-push approach.

I specifically did not want someone who specialised in only one or two brands but someone truly independent who could offer an unbiased opinion about many products based on years of experience with many different brands. I found such a person in Lisa.

The result?

Lisa said I did NOT need hearing aids and that my hearing loss was of the same unusual pattern in both ears, probably long term, possibly due to a virus, and not age-driven. Her informed opinion was that the small benefit I’d receive from hearing aids would not be worth the cost or the inconvenience of wearing them.

Lisa’s fee for my 50-minute consultation?... ZERO, no charge!

I could not recommend Lisa more highly for her skills, experience, generous nature, unbiased opinion and integrity. Thank you Lisa!
