Extremely happy with my ultrasound appointment yesterday. Made appointment in the morning, and was treated in the afternoon. Minimum waiting after arriving, all the staff I had contact with were polite and professional. The bonus, they bulk bill unlike certain other Cairns practice's.

These guys were fantastic. I drove about an hour and a half from up Daintree way for my appointment, and was about 45 minutes early (just in case with the dodgy roads and all!). They took my details, signature etc. and I waited. They got me in a few minutes earlier which was surprising. But more surprising was that they very quickly dealt with the details, and then my scan and injection. I was out before my original appointment time. Very friendly, and remarkably efficient. Awesome!

Won't be using Queensland x-ray again.
Should be called 'try and make an appointment with us'. If you ring too close to the scan date they will tell you they are very full. If you try ring 3-4 weeks before they will continually tell you the booking calendar is not open yet! Trying to invite my mother to fly up and experience the 20 week scan with me but they make it almost impossible to plan ahead. Then after ringing on 4 different occasions finally the booking system is open and then they say they can't book me in without my referral in front of me. So I hang up and call back and get another lady....she booked me in! Shouldnt be this stressful. Previously my dr sent me to Queensland x-ray and I never had any issues what so ever with them. Will never return to this place again.

I recently came with a profoundly Deaf young man who has had very few medical contacts and was very anxious. Unbeknownst to me, he was going to have a dye injected CT scan. I was concerned how he would go, but a very kind, friendly and accommodating technician brought us in and allowed me to interpret the procedure in full before starting. It was very reassuring to know that Connor has had extensive experience performing this procedure, so the young patient felt no pain and was comfortable during this appointment. Thank you so much for the great service and amazing consideration shown by Connor, we really appreciated this!
