Have seen a couple of GPs here and all have been knowledgeable, empathetic and professional. It is greatly reassuring as a patient to be treated with such kindness especially at times when you are not feeling your best. I dont ever leave bad reviews but I couldnt let this one go. I attended this practice requesting could we have a permanent family doctor. I booked a double appointment and was seen by ANDREA AN. I went in visibly upset and explained I had been going down hill since October. Then with a trauma on Christmas day, I couldn't stop crying. I explained I wasn't sure if it was, menopause, grief/trauma or depression or a combination of all three. Her response was to go and book myself into their psychologist. I was then charged $296.50 and walked out with nothing. Feeling like I wasn't heard and feeling worse. I rang them 2 days later querying the charge and was told their manager would ring me within half an hour to discuss. As expected no phone call. Thanks you for the care Apple Tree Medical

Dr Sahar refused to put my thyroid medication on PBS because it wasn't what she would prescribe despite having access to my previous Dr's records which showed I had been on the medication for over 15 years with life-changing results. I had previously worked with an intergrative Dr who specialised in thyroid disorders who put me on a t3 medication because the usual t4 thyroid medication by itself, did not work for me. Not willing to listen to my lived experience & seemed to have no knowledge about reverse t3, dietary changes & the effects on patient symptoms. Was only interested in a number on a blood test, which showed I was on the lower end of the normal range.
