Mamu Health Services are not a professional health services. There are multiple employers there that are not qualified and have no experience yet they are still doing their job full time. I heard through the grape vine that the “trainee health worker” is currently living in the doctors house and is not qualified. This specific worker has been doing specific tasks that they have no qualifications for or training. This places needs to be seriously audited. The managing director is not qualified or the CEO yet she is making all the decisions without consulting the board. DO NOT ATTEND MAMU HEALTH SERVICES, they can’t even keep a doctor for more than 6 months, so good luck getting an appointment.

Just came from Mums and Bubs and consultation was very good but one of the the receptionist lady was horrible! She had an attitude from the minute we walked in, very straight face my God!

I have a private health card so since they don’t take privates had to pay cash, they didn’t have EFT so had to go and cash out, was supposed to pay $80 but clearly no machine gives out exactly $80. Gave her $100 and she took it with a “where the hell do you expect me to get the change attitude!” Overall good service except for that lady.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Make you feel welcome and are very respectful, unlike some medical centers i have been to. Would recommend Mamu health service to anyone wanting an efficient and family atmosphere medical centre. Thank you Mamu.

I called their mums and bubs clinic as I was suffering from mastitis and nowhere else had availabilitys for at least 4 days or more . And the woman on the phone said " sorry we're no longer taking any new non indigenous clients, try the hospital ". I was so emotional and upset I couldn't believe they turned me away purely because of the colour of my skin.

Unprofessional conduct and only get notice of appointment cancelled an hour before I was due to go to the doctors have been trying to get an appointment for over a month and still can not get one I would rather die then ever go back to mamu

So rude one of the older staff member @reception over the phone had an additude,So Miss Mulungu Health Services @mareeba they are on the ball always give best services and employees are wonderful to communicate with..
