I recently had my first visit to the day hospital and I must say our health system needs more staff like the ones I encountered and what a great team they are. The amazing doctors, nurses, and after care staff demonstrated kindness and caring nature from the moment I walked in and out, which is just wonderful, thank you to everyone one who was involved in my care. Just be aware that their billing department is a shambles. You can expect them to hit you up for an outstanding balance 3 and a half years after your appointment without having made ANY effort to contact you in all that time.

Can not rate them highly enough. From the moment I walked in reception were friendly the nurses are amazing attentive friendly and professional. The Doctors were transparent, approachable, friendly and extremely professional. They all are a credit to our health system.

I had to have a Biopsy, man problem. I was apprehensive and didn’t sleep the night before. Entered into the reception and all my fears were relaxed. From the two reception girls, the booking nurse, the theatre manager, being introduced to the theatre team and the Doctor and The Doctor who puts you under. I can assure everyone that it was a very professional unit. All friendly and went out of there way. Enter recovery waiting to pass water the nurses are jovial and very friendly. I actually felt so relaxed and even managed a few minutes of snooze in my chair. This is by far the most professional and friendly service I think I have experienced. Thanks for everything and put simply GREAT JOB.

Today, I had a surprisingly pleasant experience at the Far North Day Hospital. Although it was a very busy environment and the team works like clockwork I never felt I was just "a number". The nurses and specialists explained what to expect and I felt warmly taken care of. Nothing seemed too much for the highly professional and truly caring staff. 5 Star! Thank you.

Very disappointing. 87 year old father had surgery cancelled at last moment due to an apparent breakdown in communication between doctors.
We told that the 30min procedure could NOT be done for another month as that was the next available and that he would have to sit at home and wait in his urine.
No compassion or sympathy.

Every nurse that I interacted with was patient and considerate, my anaesthesiologist (Peter Schuller) was brilliant and my dentist (Michael Slatcher), who I have been seeing for years, was as terrific as always.
