I’m always pleased with the service at IMED. Everyone is friendly, kind and respectfully considerate. Waiting times are kept to a minimum and the premises are always 100% clean. We are very lucky indeed to have their services in our town.

Had an X ray on Tuesday morning.
Got a link to my X rays on Wednesday morning and made an appointment for Doctor for Thursday afternoon.
Go and see Doctor and like me he has X rays, but no result from Radiologist yet.
We look at X rays but they are inconclusive.
Why do the X ray, if your not going to deliver a result in a timely manner.
Now have too wait, hope it heals like it is supposed too, otherwise by the time I get a referral to a fracture clinic and get there, it may be too late to change nature's course.

Today is Wednesday 5th February 2025. I have received a reply to this message, but 8 days after an Xray still no results.
Yes, I have sent you an Email as suggested.
Does anyone else think that this is acceptable, Xray on a broken wrist and 8 days later still no Radiologist report, so no referral to fracture clinic and constant icing on injury and pain.
Still can't twist my wrist without excessive pain, yet I'm expected to accept an explanation Officious to me. Will never recommend or use this organisation again.
My next step will be to Medicare, what use is a Xray, without a report.
Why should Medicare reimburse this organisation for Incomplete and untimely work that may result in complications and further pain for me simply caused by Poor Management.

Today is Tuesday 11th February, it is exactly 2 weeks since my XRay.
Rang on phone tried to get a callback and wouldn't go through as I was on my home WiFi.
After waiting 15 minutes, I decided to drive to the Gladstone office and find out what is going on.
Just before I walked in it allowed me to do the callback.
Waited in the queue at Gladstone to get service, 4 people ahead of me.
Calmly waited, then went to window, pulled out my Medicare care and calmly and clearly told the operator that I had an Xray on January 28th and that I am still awaiting my Radiologist report.
She said it still hadn't been seen by a Radiologist and upgraded it to urgent and told me it should be done today.
On my way home, I received a callback, told them the above information and they confirmed it had been upgraded to urgent.
Told her I had emailed my details as asked last week to there Email address for urgent action.
No details found.
Will be referring whole matter to Medicare as I find the whole situation unacceptable.
I also notice the reply has not been updated.

Prompt appointment, the very next morning. Helpful and friendly reception staff and the radiologist was the same. Overall a very pleasant experience.
