Absolutely very helpful place but you do need a referral from your doctor to be accepted for a number of medical issues that are available here.

I thought all the staff were magical. The nurses who came out every day and the medical staff who were so kind.

The whole cancer care team is wonderful. I have come to the conclusion that the doctors, nurses, pharmacists and receptionists are all angels on earth. My oncologist is dr Thaker. I know it is only because of very skilled, hard working and smart people like him that I get to live my best life yet with my family.

The Complex Chronic Disease Team (I've seen every health professional there and have had no complaints, plus the receptionists are lovely) have been wonderful and since I live in Caboolture, travelling in a car to North Lakes for appointments only takes about 30 minutes compared to half a day travelling into the Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital on the train, and the shorter trip doesn't aggravate my chronic pain. The Physician (Dr Cameron Bennett) has been one of the most down to earth and understanding doctors I've ever consulted over the past 7 years and I highly recommend him to anyone who has chronic pain and needs help

The Complex Chronic Disease Team (CCDT) at North Lakes have been a major help and support to me. I've required a number of modalities, assistants, care and educational support. I always felt so comfortable, confident, even almost hugged like! The environment is safe and they listened through my needs and my goals. They are special people with exceptional skills and caring hearts. Thank you all the CCDT North Lakes crew. From beginning to end... you guys rock!
