Trying on the aftershave while for my script may have not been a great idea.
My script came quickly but unfortunately so did my allergy to perfumes. Fortunately l was in the best place to get some antihistamines 😊

Bought Guardium Acid Reflux 14 for $20.00 only to find out after its no dearer that $12 at other chemists. I bought a generic brand to get a cheaper solution. What a rort. Taking advantage of the community. Wont be going there again.

Don't get your prescriptions filled here..the wait is sooo long everytime..They tell you 15 minutes and promote going for a shop while you wait...1 hour and 30 minutes later your groceries are sitting in the car and still no script

Re Amcal Chemist Beerwah. I made the mistake if buying a product in this store last week. Should have know better as found the exact same product almost $7 cheaper in a different store in Caloundra.
Amcal Chemist Beerwah is almost all ways more expensive than other chemist shops.

My family have been customers of Amcal Beerwah for the past eight years. I used to get cranky when I repeatedly said I did not want the generic brand of the prescription being filled but find out that they have issued the generic brand. It happened so often that I just gave up. My recent visit was even worse. I wanted to purchase a particular item but found that Amcal don't stock that item and really pushed a different brand. I told them the doctor said not to use that brand but it was pushed hard anyway. Then the chemist advised a different item and I took her advice. When I returned home my wife said we already had it in tablet form. Next day I tried to return the item purchased but was refused. I was told and shown the return policy which was smaller than A4 on the back of a piece of glass in the corner near the check out area. When I explained the situation (recommend by chemist but already had it at home) I was told too bad. I also explained that we used the pharmacy exclusively which was a round $2K a year the manager didn't care. My business is now done also where.

I would call a pharmacy that never has stock of even the most basic prescriptions 'not a pharmacy' especially when staff act like they're doing you a massive favour by ordering basic medication in.
If you are really stuck and have to use this place make sure you're putting your scripts in days in advance, because there's always at least a 30 minute wait on dispensation.
I don't blame the individual store assistants, clearly the pharmacist and management team are incompetent.
Go to Terry White in Glasshouse instead.

Terrible customer service. Today 6/7/23
Waited around 10 minutes, not a single staff member acknowledged me. I smiled at all of them. I work as a dispense technician at a pharmacy so I understand how they work. The pharmacy was almost empty of customers and 3 staff members were behind the dispense counter. Not one asked me if I needed help. It was the pharmacist herself who called from the back of the pharmacy if I was being helped. I said ‘not yet’ and then proceeded to be served by a woman who acted like I had got her in trouble. I was sent to the front with no apology for the wait or being ignored, and the young girl who served me, although polite, looked so unhappy. It was an awful experience, I am proud to say that in our pharmacy everyone is acknowledged no matter how busy. I will never go back and will certainly not recommend it.
