Best aged care facility I have ever seen, this is the standard that all aged care facilities should be aiming to achieve. Rooms are large, there is an onsite hairdresser and theatre as well as games room for the residents. The outdoor areas are well maintained and very spacious. I'm glad to have a family member in a facility of this standard.

Gold rimmed mirrors don't reflect the best service necessarily.

Questionable practices, ie. in relation to bullying from upper-staff suppose to ensure carers are fully trained and appropriately rostered to ensure enough carers at all times.

Staff short-handed to the point at end of shift, paperwork is prioritised over alarms; to the point un-paid trainees are sent to check alarms by themselves while trained paid staff complete paperwork. {Maybe pay staff an extra 15 minutes and overlap staff so paperwork can be done while clients are covered by next shift}.

Removed mum from their care because meds were forgotten often and then when she asked still took a few hours to get. buzzers were turned off rather than answered on a lot of occasions. Made complaints and never corrected. Staff overrode specialists requests for medication times prior to surgery. Food not always up to par, very frugal. Promised morning and afternoon tea or coffee but rarely got. Upon leaving facility, left a vase behind, but someone stole it rather than return it even after several attempts to retrieve. Colleen in office said it may have been put in maintenance shed or in nurses station storage…. Clearly returning people’s belongings is unimportant to them…. There is no lost property etc. Very Very disappointed considering how much people pay to enter as a holding to be at the facility…. Disgusting!

Completely amazing. I was working here as a physiotherapist and this place is absolutely beautiful! Amazing staff and great residents. Never heard any complaints from anyone
