I found the shopping centre very clean and I had no problem in shopping while on holiday. We had a drink at the new hotel and played the pokies , won $1000.

Tavern is lovely. Only problem is the same menu as The Lakes. Food was lovely

Second time trying this place ,rude manager,he asked how was our meal , hubby had a tasteless steak with a gross mushroom sauce and soggi salad drowned in dressing not much salad tiny actually , couldn't eat it but the manager didn't like it snurling and walking away ,why ask if you don't want your customers opinion ,meals are below average with above average prices ,rude staff and management not at all friendly but rude like the manager at the other one Bargara lakes tavern so very disappointing really wanted it to work ,never going back ,why not have actual specials ,who can afford this place ?,specials are not special ,why not make some real specials and why are you so miserable! Try a meal deal of some type to entice the patronts , add a few specials below $30 ,why not make it so that pensioners can afford it, do better please and it will make you more money!!!!!

Although it was a very bust night, we waited more than
90mins for our meals.
Even when they eventually arrived, the granddaughter's meal was not delivered.
This took another 30 minutes.
By that time it was too late for her to eat and we took it home.
The meals were tough and tasteless.
First and LAST time....👎👎

First of all, I was a bit dismayed when I checked out the menu on line to find out it's exactly like the Bargara Lakes Tavern. I know its owned by the same people but you would think that in a town the size of Bargara that they may want to offer a different dining experience seeing as the the other venue is about 5 k away and both would be frequented by locals while the tourists went in to the center of Bargara near the water.
Anyway we liked BLT well enough so thought we'd give it a go. Before I go on, I must say all the staff were excellent except maybe the kitchen. We ordered and waited.... and waited... and waited. I went up and asked were our bread was. That came our shortly. In the meantime a party sat down next to us, ordered, ate and left and we still hadn't been served, then another table sat and was served. We enquired again and our meals finally came out, 2 of which were so dry the were inedible. There were only about 4 ribs that were nearly jerky.. We sent them back and were offered a 2 drinks while waiting for the 2 replacement meals. They came out not quite as dry but tasteless. The breading on the Parmy was heavy and hard not at all like BLT. The only thing decent was my garlic prawn fettuccine and that was marginal.BUT the staff were professional and tried to make it right. other friends had come and had the same waitng experinece. They arrived shortly after we did and didn’t get served until we were leaving.Won't be going back EVER, when i can get the same menu better closer to home. Please think about a menu change, it would be so nice to have a choice in town when all other venues offer the same things. Parmies, pizza, burgers, etc, etc, etc. Somebody have little shutzpa and imagination. If not, at least do it right.

Good shopping centre. All the things you need Woolies Aldi Coffe Cakes Alcohol Newsagent. Good carpark with shade. Street behind if you have a big rig or Caravan.
