Dr. Waheeja made a very hard day, much worse.

I found out in the morning I’d have a miscarriage. Went to this practice in the afternoon to be assessed and discuss options moving forward.
There was not an OUNCE of empathy, or acknowledgement for the news I’d been given that day.
After reading her screen for a long while she said “I suggest a D&C”… there was not any other options discussed , no explanation of that procedure is (she didn’t know I’m a registered nurse) (a D&C is also the last resort pregnancy clinics prefer), she did not send me on my way with any safe netting. It was “I’ll do a referral for you and you’ll hear from the hospital, bye”.

Appalling.

Today, my doctor of five years, Dr. Shahid Malik, completely unprovoked, pointed out that even though I am a trans female, he sees and refers to me as male. He even smiled while saying this.

I understand that people have their own biases, but it is disingenuous to advertise your practice as "trans-friendly, LGBT-friendly, all-inclusive, and welcoming" if you don't truly believe it.

It's surprising because, over these five years, he has been a subpar doctor at best. Every appointment has either been late or behind schedule—so much so that I sometimes show up late just to align with his timing. He frequently messes up lab tests, forgets crucial information, and often ignores my concerns regarding important health matters.

So, you will take my money and involve yourself in my medical care, but you don't respect me, acknowledge my identity, or behave in a manner consistent with what you claim to represent.

This practice is a complete joke.

I would only recommend this place if it's the only affordable option in the area. Otherwise, please seek a second opinion or find a different practitioner.

Terrible medical practice from both Dr Shahid and Dr Wajeeha. In the past month:

1. Dr Wajeeha, while measuring the heart rate of my pregnant partner's fetus, accidentally measured my partner's heart rate and referred us for an 'urgent ultrasound' due to the fetus' apparently extremely low heart rate, sending us both into a panic. Not only a mistake in measuring, but if the fetus's heart rate was as low as stated, we should have been sent to the emergency room, not an outpatient referral for an ultrasound.

2. Dr Shahid has told us he has made a referral for a morphology scan, but actually didn't make the referral, which we have found out the day prior to the scan's booking.

Absolutely unacceptable.

I am deeply frustrated with the care my nana received. Instead of being referred to the hospital for her chronic symptoms, she was sent to a physiotherapist, which completely overlooked her serious condition. She has cancer and, unfortunately, it has progressed too far for her to have a significant chance of recovery. Her time was wasted, and her symptoms were misdirected under the guidance of Dr. Blat. It’s incredibly disheartening, especially considering that one would expect a doctor to make more informed decisions. It’s hard to comprehend how this could happen - perhaps a lack of care for their patients. Unbelievable.

My Doctor Shahid Mallick is quite and unasuming, he is very professional and helpedme with my stroke in march, thankgod i am here today for doctors like Dr Mallick forever greatfull.

I've seen Dr. Shahid Malick a number of times and he's always been professional and shown care during consultation. The practise is typically able to schedule an appointment within a couple of days of phoning, and wait times are typically <10-20mins. At the time of writing, Drs on Bryants were able to bulk bill (one of the last ones left), but indicated they will be charging sometime in the future.

If I could Give 5 stars to the receptionist I would!! She is so so so amazing and went above and beyond for me, she was very fond of all the clients and it seems like she knows a lot of people by name!

As for the doctor I will never be attending this practice again, I need an appointment ASAP regarding my pregnancy as I have just moved states and the doctor said maybe 2 words to me, my previous practice has sent over my blood work as they had raised a concern and he couldn't even be bothered to tell me what was wrong he did nothing for me and he was just rude!!

Hardly any of the appointments I've attended have been on time, telehealth or in person consult, sometimes waiting up to an hour to be seen. It took me 10 minutes of explanation for me to get an electronic script sorted. Would not recommend this practise unless you have a lot of time to waste.
