My recent experience at Logan Hospital was nothing short of terrible. After having a baby there, I was appalled by the state of the birthing suite—it was dirty and completely unhygienic. Given that cleanliness is crucial in a hospital, especially in maternity wards, this was beyond unacceptable.

The staff were incredibly rude, lacking both professionalism and basic compassion. Instead of providing support during such an important moment, they made the experience stressful and unpleasant. There was a complete disregard for patient care, and it felt like they simply didn’t want to be there.

Logan Hospital is in desperate need of a major revamp, not just in its facilities but in its entire staff. The level of service is disgraceful, and I wouldn’t recommend this hospital to anyone. If you have a choice, avoid Logan Hospital at all costs.

Emergency is a joke. 1 doctor is all they had
on Australian Day, and it was full. The government needs to do their jobs and help these emergency departments out. The staff are good and are always checking up on you, but to wait 9 hours, not a good look.

Probably one of the best hospitals in south east Qld. I've been admitted multiple times and the doctors and nurses have always made my health a priority.

I cannot fault the nurses, yes emergency surgery wait time was terrible but that comes down to the healthcare system being a mess due to government. Shannon in building 3, level 6, ward 6c in particular and the supervisor (forgot her name) is absolutely amazing, give these ladies a raise, they went above and beyond for me.

SLOW.
I appreciate polite service of staffs, but the system is definitely being too prolonged. (I think they are very understaffed?)

I visited the hospital due to the injury I had(head injury, bleeding) and they just charged us without explaining how long the delay would be.

I came to hospital as soon as I realised i had a bleeding wound. The staff at the administration charged about $600. Even if we didn't see the doctor yet. (Maybe cuz im not a citizen?)

There's nothing wrong with the price, if i got the treatment promptly, but I was waiting for over 4 hours, and the wound is getting clotted. I thought I would need faster service that I asked if I can get it refunded so I can go to hospital. The staff at the administration said the department in charge of refund will be back in January, thus she can't refund the money.
I was told to just wait until I see the doctor. This is RIDICULOUS.

I haven't seen a doctor, and haven't received any service. They should be able to give me a full refund. Or, they could've told me how long the estimated wait time would be. But they did not.

If you are expecting to see the doctor soon, i recommend going to a different hospital especially if you are urgent.

In the end j got discharged after 8-9 hours.

Staffs are very kinds(nurses and doctors)
But the system needs to improve.

My mum is currently being cared for by the geriatric team at Logan. I cannot speak highly enough of them all. From ED through to the ward, everyone has been so kind and attentive to my mum, and the difference they are making is extraordinary. After visiting mum yesterday I was expecting to get a call all night to say she had passed away she looked that bad. Today, she is a completely different woman. Not only does she look better but she is smiling and engaged and being her old cheeky self. The doctors are actively listening to her and to us, and for the first time in a long time she feels like she’s being heard. A far better experience than what she has received at GCUH.

I had heard all the bad stories about Logan and was hesitant to take her there, but now I am so grateful that I did.

Thank you for giving my mum back to me.

Earlier this year in January I lost my grandfather. I am extremely grateful to the chaplains that entered his room on 2 occasions to say prayer with me over him. God really sensed my heart needing comfort and having those chaplains come in, at the start of my grandads hospital care and on the day that he passed, helped me in knowing God was really with him.
I don’t think those chaplains would receive much thanks, so I just really wanted to extend my gratitude to them. If you can pass that message on, I’d be so grateful. Thank you Lord Jesus for the comfort you sent me during that time, bless the work these chaplains are doing in the hospital, it does not go unseen. Amen 🙏🏽
